This item is well worth the price. Its attractiveness and durability surpassed expectations . The shelving is strong, able to hold heavy pots, pans, bake-ware and stacked dishes. I absolutely love this product. First of all it’s beautiful. It’s so nice & sturdy. AND it was easy to put together. Great instructions & I put it together all by myself. Very happy with this purchase.

I gave 3 stars because I had some issues with the hidden hinges, they were bent making it even harder to get the doors on. I read some reviews it took people 3 hours and 2 people to assemble. It was only me (and I am partially handicapped) it took 3 hours for the main work but due to the hinges and me just being frustrated I left them off to tackle later. Completed, it resembles the picture with one door slightly lower than the other and one door does not close flush. And I was missing a single peg for the shelves. This maked the weight limit for that shelf inaccurate since I had to use just 3 pegs. Now dont get me wrong it would have been 5 stars all around had these issues not been present. And I have assembled plenty of this type of furniture to know how to read and follow directions. Now I will have to find the replacement hidden hinges and the metal shelf pegs resulting in more money on this piece. No I have not contacted the manufacturer because I bought this in the middle of my home renovations and just now got around to assembling it.

I ordered a Pemberly Row Contemporary Storage Cabinet. I read all information as I went to the Pemberly Row Product site/store. However, I did not receive what I paid for, instead, I received a Harbor View Collection Storage Cabinet by Sauder model #416797 that cost about a $100.00 less (including tax) than the original purchase that we made for the product Pemberly Row Contemporary Storage Cabinet that scored higher than the Sauder model #416797 that was sent to us. If I had not noticed the package as my husband was undoing to put together, I would have lost about $100.00 (including tax.) Smell's a little fishy to me... Bait and Switch. Not a satisfied customer, and we have had our Prime Amazon account since 2016. You can purchase on Amazon the Habor View Collection Storage Cabinet! If I wanted that one, which scores lower than the Pemberly Row that scored higher overall, I would have purchased it but, I would not order something that scores lower than the actual product I bought. Ugggh. I'm so upset with my purchase of this cabinet (which wasn't inexpensive). The materials are soooo cheap. I don't mind MDF. MDF is solid stuff and a cheap, but usable substitute for real wood. The top and bottom rails were MDF, but the rest was laminated chipboard which lives up to it's name because it chipped a lot! And what a nightmare to assemble! It's so picky in that you must align everything perfectly but how does one do that if your working with chipboard? The predrilled holes had way too much give to screw in accurately. I am very handy and this cabinet did not come out square. I just have to hang the doors and am dreading that because they will not align properly. Save your money and don't buy this cabinet. It's overpriced junk.
