Description

The Hodedah 2-Door Armoire with 2-Drawers is constructed of sturdy, durable, top quality wood. Features a laminated finish in a variety of colors. It has two doors that easily open to a spacious wardrobe. Behind two doors, it is equipped with a hanging garment bar that is the width of closet. The bottom of the closet has two drawers which have metal runners and safety stops that will keep the drawer firmly in place when it is fully opened.

I ordered two of these wardrobes. One arrived in perfect condition. My husband put it together by himself & was extremely frustrated with the process. So if you have no patience or are not handy with putting furniture together, do not try this on your own. The second wardrobe came with a panel that was broken (pictured) so badly it could not be used. I tried calling the company (Hodedah) & you just cannot get through to a live person at all. I used their website to submit a written request for a replacement panel. They responded quickly & said my request would be processed in 5-7 business days. On day 5 I wanted a status update so I emailed again. I received a response stating I would get a reply in 24-72 hours. After 72 hours with no reply (which was also past the original 7th day) I emailed again. I got an auto response stating my comments had been added to my request. At this point I was extremely frustrated as I am on a time frame with the room these wardrobes are going into. So I decided to file a complaint through the better business bureau. By the next day I got an email from Hodedah, but still no confirmation as to whether or not I was receiving a replacement part which is all I wanted. A couple days later I then received a phone call from an extremely rude & unprofessional woman on behalf of the company. She said I would receive a whole new unit. Well I received my replacement today. It is not a whole new unit. It’s just the panel (also pictured) & not the correct panel at that!! It does not match at all!!! It doesn’t have the wood grain look the wardrobe has. The shade of black does not match. It is just a board that is very obvious they painted black. You can see how the paint dripped due to their lack of caring to paint it right. I am extremely dissatisfied & am just over it which is what they we’re probably hoping for. Got my order today and there was no instructions provided. I had to Google the brand to find similar instructions just to end up frustrated and it doesn't say where the big chunky piece goes. I assumed it was for the base but it didn't fit so I just scooted the top into it and then added some support on the bottom so it didn't fall forward. It needs two people to put it together at first and altogether 3 and half hours to put together and place. I didn't want to believe all the bad reviews because I'm on a budget so I bought this and I can say this was the most complicated thing to put together on our own. It's good for what the purpose is but I wish I had a bigger budget to get something worth all the frustration that this caused. Pieces chipped off when the nails didn't keep the pieces in place. Bends easily. Broke a base board piece but made it work. ... show more

I made the big mistake of not looking at the reviews when I purchased the product! When I received the package the styrofoam was broken and all over the product and bits of the wood was beat up (thankfully not visible from the frontbor sides in my case) . The build was a pain and I had only noticed towards the end of the build that one of my drawer parts was damaged to the point I needed to either return it (disassembling this pain would suck) or contact the company support from the contact number or email available on the manual ... luckily they will send you a replacement if that is the case but contacting took more than the 3 business days they say it'll take until I got a response (most likely due to covid) and they were more than happy enough to send me a replacement which arrived in less than a week ... show more

    • Poor Quality/ Narrow Design
This product was a horror story from the very beginning. Upon opening the box, the very first piece I saw was broken. Not only was the piece broken in half, but the remainder of the piece was NOT in the box, which purely tells me it was packaged this way. I honestly should have re-taped it and returned it the moment I saw the broken piece but instead after reviewing the instructions I realized it was a piece that meant to be in the back and would be unnoticeable. So after committing to the build, I spent multiple hours over the course of a few nights assembling every single component of this design, which was not easy for one person, even an experienced person at that, to build this item solo. Once I completed building the full piece, I set it up and went to hang my jackets inside only to realize that the item is not wide enough for a standard hanger. Again, something I should have paid more attention too but figured a hanging wardrobe armoire would easily take a standard hanger size. So after discovering that it would not be suitable for the one reason I bought it, I figured it would repurpose it. Although after moving it from one floor to the next, the design was so cheaply and poorly designed that it started to dissemble, by this point I was so done with the item that I literally trashed the entire thing. I do not recommend anyone waste their time with this item, believe me spending a few extra dollars is worth it for something better. ... show more
