We have bought 3 of these. We love them. 2 we used to replace 2 smaller cabinets, a dresser and plastic drawers. It heloed the organization of my disabled childs room so very much. The other was the first one we bought and ny husband loves it in his space. The very bottom front piece was broken during shipping, but customer service got it to us in about 2 weeks. They were very easy to deal with. Each one took ne about 4 hours to put together by myself. They are extremely heavy, have help to stand up ... show more

I really hate leaving a bad review for Sauder because they have gorgeous products in the furniture area. Sometimes, people just don't know what they are doing and screw crap up while they put it together, but i put my own furniture together and other peoples so when i say this was garbage its coming from an area of expertise. BUT, they have excellent design taste only they lack in durability. It took me four hours to put my cabinet together, then another two hours to properly organize it (gently- because it has a thin cardboard back that gets nailed to the left and right backside of the cabinet and I'm not an idiot i get these things are not the greatest). Once its together its incredible to look at and the first thing i let slide was the slight misproportion of the cabinet doors but they were slight and unless you're just staring it down you won't notice it in passing. i needed this to act as a linen closet because i recently remodeled and took out a closet to create a hall. And for the price i figured it must be better than the reviews I see. Well it is- until you try to move it. even gently sliding it and pushing at the bottom jacks this thing up. as soon as i placed it i opened a drawer to put n a single pillow case and it slid out and popped off its track and i was like "ok maybe i pulled this too hard i need to be more gentle" NOOOOO!!!!!!! no matter how gentle you are this thing falls apart every time you touch it in some way, shape, or form. I wouldnt be so upest if it wasnt for the fact that the money i used to buy this thing was a gift from my mother in law who recently passed away, and i feel like i squandered her kindness away on something ridiculous. so now, not only do i have this cabinet that wants to keep falling apart every five seconds, Im leaving a warning review to anyone else who may be wanting to purchase this thing. its gorgeous it has plenty of storage space but it will take a while to put together and then five seconds to break. its just not worth almost 400 they ask for it. my suggestion is to find a matching dimensional wall space to slide this thing into so that it protects this cabinet. It CANNOT be free standing with both the left and right sides exposed because it does not manage weight dispersment properly and the middle piece that connects both outside ends are not screwed into anything but MDF which wears too easy. Unless Sauder figures out a way to make the body of this cabinet hold together better this is a waste of money. I BUY ALOT from amazon and this is the FIRST thing I've bought that i am legit unhappy about. You've been professionally warned. ( please know- it was delivered in stellar condition, impeccably packaged, completely undamaged with all its components PLUS extra is you needed it. But it legit lacks the durability needed to be functional.) Add- I’ve reinforced every bit of this thing that I could adding another hundred dollars to this- and I still can’t get it to sit right I don’t want to have to fix it to the wall but it looks like that is going to be my only option. No worth it. And I don’t think I’ll get my money out of it before I just burn it! ... show more

This is probably the most poorly made low quality POS in m entire house BUT it's also not particularly expensive which is why it gets three stars instead of one. The handles bend in your hands. The door hinges are basically made out of tin foil. The veneer is basically a sticker and the doors and sides are basically made out of that plastic cardboard stuff. I guess it might be ok in a garage or something where you don't care about quality or looks AT ALL and you just need it to hold your dirty greasy clothes or something. ... show more

Final result is very nice and attractive. During assembly we thought maybe it was not going to be very sturdy, materials seemed thin/light. I used wood glue where I could for joints and dowels. We are happy with the looks and functionality of the finished cabinet. It looks like a nice piece of cabinetry in our sunroom. I'd recently built some RTA kitchen cabinets, its a world of difference in the quality but then its a world of difference in the price. Although these seemed somewhat expensive we think we made the right choice for the size, functionality and appearance. ... show more

We needed this cabinet for our upstairs hallway. We had high hopes that the quality of the cabinet would be as good as the quality of the vanity we purchased and put together a few weeks ago, but it wasn't even close! 1) For starters, one of the doors was damaged in transit. 2) Then we noticed that the shelves on the right side of the unit are not notched for the trim. The shelves cannot sit flush against the inside of the cabvinet. 3) The quality of the materials is poor. 4) The directions were even worse. There is not much written - they are mostly pictures, which would have been fine, except that some of them were very hard to make sense of. They are numbered steps, and they do not have you attach the outside of the cabinet to the shelves, which are attached to the center divider. They actually have you turn the unit over with partially attached shelves - and that is how the shelves get totally messed up! That should NEVER have happened!! 5) One of the "hardware" pieces that holds the rod was broken in two (we used it anyway since we aren't going to put a lot of weight on the rod). 6) The bottom pieces for the 2 drawers is very flimsy. We certainly won't be able to put much weight in either drawer! When you take into consideration the quality, the horrible directions, and the damaged pieces, this is NOT a cabinet you should purchase. For now, we will keep it, but we'll probably end up having a carpenter build a unit into that space and get rid of this mess. Buyer BEWARE!! ... show more
