UPDATE!! I purchased my cookware in April and was very happy both with the way it cooked and how easily it cleaned up. In mid-May, we went to our summer home and did not return until mid October. The cookware was not used at all for over four months. I have always hand washed my cookware because it was so easy to do. In the last couple of weeks, I have noticed a few spots on the outside surface of a couple of my pots and pans that looked different than the usual surface, but figured it was nothing major. Yesterday, when I washed one of my smaller pots (which gets a lot of usage) the entire charcoal surface on the outside came off leaving the outside of the pot a very pale gray with goldish tones. I simply used Dawn dish detergent and my kitchen sponge (the yellow ones with the green scrubbing surface on one side) to clean this pot. This morning, while cleaning a frying pan I noticed that the surface of it also looks as though it is coming off. So far, the cookware still cooks very nicely, but my I am very disappointed about the outside surface of this cookware, and somewhat afraid to use and then clean the rest of my pots and pans. If one of the reasons you're thinking about purchasing anodized aluminum cookware is for its looks, don't buy this cookware. I have had my new cookware for a few weeks now, and am extremely pleased with it. It's very solid without being heavy, and seems to heat very evenly. The volume on the various pots (and pans) is good but I would prefer them to be slightly higher as opposed to wider - not a major problem. The biggest problem I have is forgetting that I shouldn't put these in the dishwasher (which I have always been able to do with other cookware). This was one of the things that made me think again about this cookware prior to purchasing. However, I have always wanted a set of good anodized aluminum so I purchased these. I am very happy with them. Clean-up usually takes just a few minutes and there is no scrubbing involved. I would highly recommend this set to anyone who wants good quality cookware at a very reasonable price. ... show more

We purchased this set for our summer home because the price was right. Pans are sized and perform as advertised, however, if you’re used to higher-end cookware (e.g. Calphalon, Cuisinart, etc.), watch your heat setting with these. The thin metal results in quick scorching.

I ordered this Stone & Beam Kitchen Cookware Set, 12-Piece, Pots and Pans, Hard-Anodized back in December 2022, and am very satisfied with the product. Nonstick works as expected. The pans look like Calphalon, but are a thinner guage. This worried me because I expected them to tilt on my glass top stove. They didn't. All the pans sit flat on the stove top and make good contact for even heating. [Edit: after about 4 months, some of the pans no longer sit as flat on the stove. Therefore, the contact is no longer as good.] They feel cheap, because the thickness is not impressive. But, hey, they are cheap! I don't think I'll ever buy expensive non-stick pan again. If these lose their non-stick ability after a year, they're still worth the money! [Edit: after about 4 months of use, the nonstick is not as effective. Previously rated 5 stars, had to reduce to 4] I'm probably going to buy a set for my mother because they are so light weight. The provided lids for every pan, but note some lids are designed to fit multiple pans, so there are more pans than lids. Metal Handles! This is great for people who actually know how to cook. For example, you can sear the outside of a steak and finish it in the oven. Easy peasy. If you buy a pan with a plastic handle, this method is off limits. It's a good design and the handle has never gotten too hot on the stove top. ... show more

I had done research online for month to buy ceramic pots/pans. Upon that research I ran into this set. And it has been several months since I purchased this set. All the pots/pans work FANTASTIC! Completely non stick. I cook eggs every morning and they turn out wonderful each morning. The metal handles from my experience do not get HOT. I have had one of the smaller handles get warmer (scared me cause I wasn't expecting it to be warm, but it did not burn my hand.) The only reason the handle got that temp was because it was smaller than the stove eye I was using and the heat from the eye, heated up the handle. So I just make sure to slide the pan all the way to the edge of the eye now. Also I read some reviews about the outside of the pan burning or turning color from food dripping outside the pan, I have experience that, but with a little elbow grease, the stains come off. Also I do NOT care what the outside of the pan looks like as long as it stays non stick. I will update this review in a few months and include pictures, But so far this is a FANTASTIC purchase for quality and for price!!! ... show more
