I have sensitive skin which I’ve been exposing to Trader Joe’s facial cleanser for years. Recently, TJ changed its formula for the worst. Among other things, I began to realize it really was not cleansing my skin very well but was too drying. I thought I’d try your Basics cleanser, and wow! The cleansing is extraordinary, yet my skin feels smooth and is glowing afterwards. Just a tiny drop produces lots of lather. So this bottle, already economical, is going to last me a long time. I could do with less or no fragrance, although I don’t find it strongly objectionable. I will never go back to TJ or bar soap.

This face wash is thick and seems like it’s good quality but it burned my face and gave me a rash. I’m usually not allergic or sensitive to cosmetics, facial cleansers, or moisturizers but this one I am sensitive to. So just a heads up to those of you with sensitive skin, maybe steer clear of this one.

This Facial Cleanser is working out great for me! Due to a tight budget I stopped buying my usual face wash which had a nice citrus aroma and it left my face feeling so fresh and clean. When I saw this Facial Cleanser I decided to try it because it fit my budget. As it turns out my face feels fresh & clean & soft! After using for a number of weeks, this cleanser still leaves my face looking smooth & not dried out. After rinsing good, I pat my face dry gently with a towel and leave a tad bit of water on my face. Then right away I put on a lite moisturizer or coconut & Shea Butter Mix to lock in the moisture. Soon after that settles I apply a sun screen. Note: Any sun screen is better than no sun screen. I say that because all I had was this big bottle of Off brand sunscreen and it works great. This Face wash leaves my face feeling Nice and Clean all day & my skin has a healthy glow. I'm over 60 btw... :)

I think I really like it and it works amazingly. I have sensitive skin and I think my skin is completely fine. The only downside is that it leaves my skin a little dry, and I also have dry skin, so I think that’s the issue. But it also removes my makeup so easily. I never knew that this product could also remove my makeup. I love it. I'm going to purchase it again as well.
