The Rivet leather ottoman has exceeded my expectations in every way . The quality built metal which is a soldered construction . The top grain leather is beautiful and luxurious to the touch and the foam insert nice and dense . The mid century minimal black frame is a very stylish frame .

I like this ottoman. Only wish it were offered with a variety of size options. Specifically, would love a 30x30 square larger size for the same item. For now, I purchased two of the grey top-grain leather versions of this item and am pleased with them overall. As others have mentioned, the metal is soldered construction with hardware reinforcements. The leather is nice. The foam insert comprising the cushion insert seems to be likely high density firm polyurethane- it is slightly cheap and crunchy firm feeling initially, but the crunchier aspect detected during hand-compression of the cushion-top will disappear once this ottoman has seen mild use. It appears the cushion bounces back to shape immediately after compression is released, so on the positive side, I expect keeping original shape will not be an issue. ... show more

I didn't have high expectations for this "Amazon" brand furniture, but I have been pleasantly surprised by Rivet. I ordered a cloth footstool with diamond pattern and I have really liked it. The footstool came already built, so not assembly required - but it was in a rather large box. The footstool is on the taller end (your feet will stick straight out if sitting on a lower height couch instead of angled downwards) but is comfortable and stylish. The legs, while they have a rubber bottom to help with scratching, are still thin enough to be kind of a hazard. The stitching on the cloth was excellent and the cloth itself, while not soft, was comfortable and thick. Even though I did like this item, I will say that I think the price at time of review (over eighty dollars) was still steep, especially for a small cloth furniture item. I think the headline says it all but let me elaborate: the ottoman is good-looking, even stylish. Sturdy too. I do wish it was a little taller because I'm over 6' tall. For those who hate assembling things you will be happy to know it ships in one piece. All you have to do is remove it from the box. It is though on the pricey side. There are a fair number of choices at this price but the Rivet Modern Leather Ottoman is a very good one. ... show more

I bought a Rivet couch several years ago in cognac and it’s held up really well through 5 kids and 4 dogs. This ottoman is the same leather and same quality. It matches perfectly too. The cushion is firm and the legs are sturdy. It does not wobble at all. The legs are powder coated black and welded at the seams. No assembly required. ... show more
