Younger, stronger people say it is hard to get the foot rest to close but older people don't have the strength to do it. It's a design problem. The fabric is great, comfort good. This recliner replaced an old one that fell apart. My criteria included that it rock and recline and also that my existing fitted slipcover. Also my husband requested that the seat heat be not too low. After much searching both local and online, I gave this one a shot. So far, so good. Hubby is happy, and he also likes that this one swivels as well. Slipcover fits just right. Be patient when assembling the seat back. It fits tightly, but that is what you want. You really don't want that becoming loose with use. The cushions are comfy and it's not so large as to overpower the room. Price is right and delivery time was 2 days. Nothing to complain about.

I really did want to love this chair. The fabric is nice. The overall style is nice. The color is nice. It was comfortable enough when I just sat in it. Has a good amount of cushioning. The back is flat and does not push your head forward. This is something I have trouble with as a shorter person. Nothing hits in the right place. The problems started when I reclined it back and a sizable gap formed, between the seat and the back cushion, leaving a couple inch gap and no real lumbar support. I really needed a chair so I thought I could work with this. Shift a little when reclined or add a pillow. The main reason this chair had to be sent back was the footrest refused to lock back in place. No matter what I tried it just would not lock back down. I basically had to shove at it as hard as possible, while the chair was against a wall, until it finally locked. I really tried to look and see if I could fix what was wrong but ultimately this chair just seems to not be constructed well. I decided against trying a second one as, after reading the reviews more closely, it seems to just be an issue with this design. Too bad as it could have been a great little chair.

Well first off the color isn’t accurate in the picture the smoke grey actually looks grey this chair is just black and white. I sat in it last night with shorts on and it was so itchy on my legs the material isn’t soft. The back of the chair is really comfortable and very puffy the seat is a bit firm and I feel like I cant Sit back far enough to get completely comfortable and if you’re tall your head won’t be able to rest on the back because I’m 5’1 and my head just reaches the top. The recliner comes out fast and hard and once it’s out you can no longer move the chair and to put it down you have to use a lot of force and forget it with a sleeping baby you're going to wake up the baby. The recliner also doesn’t stay reclined unless you’re fully extended back so if you just want to recline a little you’ll keep being pushed back forward. Assembly was super easy. Overall not completely satisfied. It’s just an ok chair but for the amount that me and my baby will be using it Im thinking about returning and investing in something better. Also makes a LOUD crunching sound like the metal is rubbing its so loud it wakes the baby. Not happy with this chair.

I bought this chair because of hip replacement. Unfortunately, I didnt read the reviews because I needed it quickly. The chair is comfortable, however once you recline, it is very difficult to close the footrest, even with assistance. Also, when you recline further, it doesn't stay in place. I thought about returning and replacing the chair, but I don't want to go through the hassle. I think I will see if someone can come out and fix it.

We had some scheduling delays & communication issues from the heavy shipper for last mile delivery. I’m not sure if I received the replacement, or the original, but either way Amazon customer service delivered! Thank You 🙏🏻 . We are in remote mountains, shipping delays expected. It arrived in the middle of a family visit, picture will come. It is very supportive for my lower back. I wish the back were about 4” taller. We are a tall family, but I can still find many comfortable positions. I think it will last 3 to 4 years with everyday use. I like to replace fabric items by then anyway. The fabric is beautiful. I will keep it mostly covered because we have cats & I like to regularly wash covers. Love it! Good buy ♥️

Besides comfort!!!… the quality and thickness of the woven charcoal gray fabric is unbelievable. The price was a steal, and the delivery was prompt @ 7am on the dot, delivered inside my residence by two masked (and compliant) Amazon delivery teammates.
