This recliner replaced an old one that fell apart. My criteria included that it rock and recline and also that my existing fitted slipcover. Also my husband requested that the seat heat be not too low. After much searching both local and online, I gave this one a shot. So far, so good. Hubby is happy, and he also likes that this one swivels as well. Slipcover fits just right. Be patient when assembling the seat back. It fits tightly, but that is what you want. You really don't want that becoming loose with use. The cushions are comfy and it's not so large as to overpower the room. Price is right and delivery time was 2 days.     • Can’t put it back down
Nice looking chair but you can NOT put it back down once you are reclined. Impossible. Bought one n wanted to return. Company okayed it and sent a new one. We needed the box from the replacement chair to return our first chair but the box was broken n couldn’t be used. We expected the new chair to work, thinkibg the first one was broken, but it was the same. You literally have to get out of the chair in the recliner position to put id down. For the price, this is a great recliner! Easy to assemble and looks just like the pictures! They are comfortable, but firm. You do have to push somewhat hard to get the reclining footrest to click back in, but not a dealbreaker for me.

I love the chair, very comfortable and nicely stuffed, medium firm seat. I would have given five stars, but ordered 3, two were damaged. The customer service is great and they picked them up. But now they are currently out of stock in the gray for me to replace. So I am waiting and will get one more. Then will have a matching set for wife and I. The gray is very pretty, a charcoal tweedy look. Material seems very good and chair is sturdy. ... show more

We had some scheduling delays & communication issues from the heavy shipper for last mile delivery. I’m not sure if I received the replacement, or the original, but either way Amazon customer service delivered! Thank You 🙏🏻 . We are in remote mountains, shipping delays expected. It arrived in the middle of a family visit, picture will come. It is very supportive for my lower back. I wish the back were about 4” taller. We are a tall family, but I can still find many comfortable positions. I think it will last 3 to 4 years with everyday use. I like to replace fabric items by then anyway. The fabric is beautiful. I will keep it mostly covered because we have cats & I like to regularly wash covers. Love it! Good buy ♥️ ... show more

    • Footrest is very difficult to close!
I bought this chair because of hip replacement. Unfortunately, I didnt read the reviews because I needed it quickly. The chair is comfortable, however once you recline, it is very difficult to close the footrest, even with assistance. Also, when you recline further, it doesn't stay in place. I thought about returning and replacing the chair, but I don't want to go through the hassle. I think I will see if someone can come out and fix it. ... show more

    • I wanted to love this chair but...
I really did want to love this chair. The fabric is nice. The overall style is nice. The color is nice. It was comfortable enough when I just sat in it. Has a good amount of cushioning. The back is flat and does not push your head forward. This is something I have trouble with as a shorter person. Nothing hits in the right place. The problems started when I reclined it back and a sizable gap formed, between the seat and the back cushion, leaving a couple inch gap and no real lumbar support. I really needed a chair so I thought I could work with this. Shift a little when reclined or add a pillow. The main reason this chair had to be sent back was the footrest refused to lock back in place. No matter what I tried it just would not lock back down. I basically had to shove at it as hard as possible, while the chair was against a wall, until it finally locked. I really tried to look and see if I could fix what was wrong but ultimately this chair just seems to not be constructed well. I decided against trying a second one as, after reading the reviews more closely, it seems to just be an issue with this design. Too bad as it could have been a great little chair. ... show more
