  • Inexpensive and perfect…

  • As described but feels kind of cheap. Works fine though. Don't drop it.

As described but feels like really cheap plastic. It works fine so it isn't an issue so far but don't drop it or you will probably crack it. Mount it somewhere and leave it.

  • Able to reach 950 Mbps!
Color: Black Style: 1-Pack Pattern Name: Cable
I did some testing against a local iperf server, and was able to get a sustained, consistent 949 Mbps transfer speed. I did notice that the speed was much lower (320-650) when connected to some of the other USB ports on my motherboard, so keep that in mind when using it, especially if you're plugging in to a USB hub or a port on the front of your computer. If you do an Internet speed test, you'll be limited by the USB port speed (USB 2.0, USB 3.0, USB 3.1), the speed of the USB controller in your computer (matters if you have other high-speed USB devices plugged in), the Ethernet cable connecting your computer to your router, your max Internet speed, your connection with the speed test server, as well as just other things running in the background on your computer. Networking is complicated. ... show more

  • Does not work with Samsung Galaxy S10

  • Partial Docking Station with this Hub
Color: Black Style: 1-Pack Pattern Name: Cable
I have a Lenovo 2-in-1 FLEX 6-14IKB laptop that only has one HDMI connection and no built-in Ethernet. I really wanted to add Ethernet and a second monitor when working at my desk at home, especially because the 14" laptop screen is so small. This laptop does have one USB-C port but it is non-Thunderbolt 3, which is required when using one of the newer docking stations that support DisplayPort through USB-C. Because my laptop is non-Thunderbolt 3 I purchased this USB-C hub with a built-in Ethernet adapter to get as close as possible to a docking station. I also purchased a RayCue USB to HDMI (mini-video card) to add to this hub, adding to the docking station setup: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NJ1SJJD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This hub is working great. I have a solid wired connection to my home network and the Internet. I also have an older USB 2.0 hub plugged into this USB-C hub for my keyboard, mouse and headphones. So with one USB-C connection to my laptop I have: Gigabit LAN, 2nd (1680X1050) Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse and Headphones, and I still have one open USB 3.0 slot on this hub open. Unfortunatly, I still have three connections to my laptop (power, HDMI (1st monitor) and this USB-C hub) but that isn't too bad since these are all right next to each other on the laptop. ... show more

  • Not going to last
Color: Black Style: 1-Pack Pattern Name: Cable
Works well for now, but it’s not going to last. The lack of removable cable means that this isn’t going to last long if thrown in a backpack or case.

  • Works with Chromebook
Color: White Style: 1-Pack Pattern Name: Cable
Works great with a Chromebook. It is fully supported and the Ethernet port does indeed work at 1GB per second. I tested it out with my fiber internet and I get the max speed. Ports work great, but I have no USB 3.0 devices to test max throughput. I have no reason to doubt it doesn’t support those full speeds, either. My only gripe is I wish it had a longer lead on the USB type C plug. Seems a little too short to put it out of the way. ... show more

  • Way too expensive
Color: Black Style: 1-Pack Pattern Name: Cable
I couldn't try it out as I could not get my internet service connected on this adapter. I was not impressed with the cheap materials (plastic housing, rubbery-type cord) for the too-expensive price ($23.37), so I returned it.
