    • Do what they need to but won't last for a long time
I just needed a cheap set of basic tools like this and they work. They grip well and do the basic jobs I need them for (mainly just gripping things). However the wire cutting pieces in the grips easily get groves in them so your better using a pair of snips (which when you are up a ladder means more hands or more storage). Thats why I marked them down. Its always an oversight on these cheap Plier sets. You get what you pay for. ... show more

    • Good set. Amazon needs to correct the diagonal cutters as they are dull with gaps
Good set. Gets the jobs done. Diagonal cutters are not sharp, so take a dremmel to them and sharpen them up. After that great set for any job. I have bought multiple Amazon Basics diagonal cutters now and returned them all except one (the one pair I kept I sharpened myself. ) because they are dull with gaps. ... show more
