I really like the Amazon Basics oxy fresh scent carpet cleaner. I use it in my upright Bissell carpet cleaning machine. We have a dog and at times our home can start to smell. This cleaner has been perfect at getting out stains and leaving a fresh clean scent. This product is Safer Choice certified which is important to me. I use this with a Spot Bot carpet cleaner, added to the water tank. It does a good job removing pet stains (cat vomit) from my carpet with just one treatment, and leaves a lightly fresh smell. The big bottle is very affordable, for what it can do. This liquid combination does foam up much more than some other cleaners that are made for my machine, so I've found that I do have to empty the discard water tank after each use, or the foam fills up the tank and starts to leak out. ... show more

This did a good job cleaning a few areas of chunky cat vomit from both carpet and several types of fabric (our cat is always seeking to explore a new medium). I’d strongly prefer an unscented version. The scent isn’t as overpowering as some cleaning products can be, but I did notice when I left the room and came back again.
