I've been using this for nearly 2 years and have no issues with it. I have a 15.6" laptop on it, with several peripherals and it hold with no problem with a little room left to spare. I would like to find some way to attach wheels to it, but other than that I have no issues.

this is a heavy duty piece of kit. Everything about it is substantial. Only one criticism is it does not go down far enough to be useful when sitting. It's the drawback of it being big enough for a big person to stand at. You cant gave both

I was looking for a stand for my iPad. This thing is way oversized for what I needed. The legs take up a very large footprint. If you need something for heavier objects, this would probably work well.

This tripod has 1.5" tubular legs versus the standard 1" making it very sturdy. It's also extendable way above waist height making it ideal for a number of applications. I use it to support my Mackie mixer which it does effortlessly. I have total confidence in its ability to hold the weight, and the top is highly adjustable allowing a wide range of tilt. I agree with some reviewers here that the notch in the table for cables is unnecessary, as it doesn't interfere with cables in any way. But this is a very minor niggle. If this is a true example of Amazon Basics, I will definitely be buying from the Basics range again. ... show more
