I wanted something simply designed for my open deck area, and I needed the mesh cover so sparks don't fly out as I have a lot of trees on my property. I didn't need something super expensive, either. The moon and stars cutouts are cute and not over done; really happy with that design. Everything arrived packaged safely and securely, though I hate that manufacturers, including Amazon, are still using styrofoam (stop using styrofoam!). Looks well made, well designed. It's hefty but not heavy at all. I can easily lift it and carry it around. So don't think heavy duty iron or a heavy duty metal but more a lighter weight metal. This isn't too large but it's not a too-small fire pit either. Just the right size to have a nice fire to sit outside. Be sure to look at the dimensions so you'll know what you are receiving for your space. Putting together wasn't too difficult, though it was awkward to put on the legs. However, other than some awkwardness on the legs, easy to assemble and everything fit as it should without problems. A TIp: be sure to put the screws that hold the guards where the screw head is on the inside so the screen fits onto the metal pieces. If the bottom of the screw and the nut is on the inside, the screen won’t fit onto the metal pieces flush. A nice looking firepit - I'm happy with my order!

The media could not be loaded. Beautiful Fire Pit (at least for now). It was no problem at all to assemble. It took about 15 minutes. It is really light weight. That is good and bad. Good when it comes to moving it around. It can easily be carried by one person though it is large and a little awkward. Best if you have two people to carry it if there's a fire in it (probably not recommended to move it when burning but I'm sure most people do). The outer ring stays cool enough to grab ahold of with bare hands. This thinness of the metal is bad when it comes to durability. I'm guessing that after burning a few fires in it that the black finish will begin to wear off and rust will soon show up. This will increase if it gets left out in the rain a few times. However, at this point, these are all just the speculations of a pessimist. I like the bear and paw designs around the outside. These look even better with a fire burning inside. The dome-shaped screen lid is a nice touch and the fire poker is helpful as well.

This is cute and seems well made. I like the portability and can even carry it myself. It seems deeper than a comparative one I have. It did not come with a cover though, and that's a bit disappointing. It did come with a poker that fits inside it when not in use. Assembly probably took around 20 minutes. It was simple to understand, but a bit awkward to do on my own. A second pair of hands would have made it easier. Things lined up just fine. Note: directions are at the back of the manual, and you will need a Phillip's head screwdriver. The bears have a screen on them, which is safer than just being an open design. The lid also is screened. I like this fire pit. UPDATE: Because it didn't have a cover it gathered some rain the past couple of days. Where it was wet, including a scratch in the middle of the main part, and around the screws, there is now rust.
