At first I didn’t think it was as moisturizing as CeraVe, but a side by side comparison proved me wrong! Same ingredients as well. I live in a high desert town, super dry, so moisturizing is key & this fits the bill! Highly recommend!

I like using this moisturizer because it doesn’t leave my face oily and seems to absorb well into the skin. Even when I’m using my serum, I usually have a hard time with my skin absorbing the moisturizer and going without making my face shine too much. I don’t have to use much of the moisturizer to spread it all over my face and I have months worth of supply through this container. My face feels natural and texture wise, I can hardly tell that my face had any moisturizer put on after it’s fully absorbed. I clearly see my facial features soften after using this product though. I haven’t needed had dry skin after washing my face as often either. I don’t notice a scent when putting it on and don’t believe this product to be harsh on the skin. In my house we go through a jar of Cerave every few weeks since we all use it for moisturizing. So I was intrigued by this Amazon brand one and was curious if it would live up to the original. I’ve mostly had good luck with Amazon brand items for the most part so I was hoping that would be the case again. And it definitely is! This stuff works just as well as the cerave does, and honestly I feel like it absorbs into my skin even better and quicker than the Cerave does! It leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized and it didn’t cause my son with sensitive skin issues to break out in hives at all which is definitely a plus. The price is only slightly less expensive than the name brand, but since I like this just as much if not slightly better i say it’s a keeper! ... show more

I've been using this as my daily moisturizer. Not only do you get a pretty hefty amount but it always works really well. I use this after I use serum and before I go to bed. Quality: This product is pretty similar to name brands but it works just as well. It not only makes my skin feel refreshed right away but it's also the same when I wake up. There's no scent to this product so you won't be smelling like it when you wake up if used at night. My wife is the moisturizer connoisseur of the household and her only issue with Amazon Basic Moisturizing Cream is that since it compares itself to CeraVe, it is not quite as thick as CeraVe. And that is the only non-positive thing she had to say. This is most definitely a cream and not a lotion and as such, it takes more effort to rub in compared to a lotion. The cream leaves your skin feeling very soft after being worked in and she mentioned that this would be a good cream for hands and feet overnight wearing gloves and socks. Additionally, there is zero scent to it, which is good for me as I tend to have skin reactions to any added scents or dyes. All in all, this is a very nice cream, but what I feel makes it great is the value which by volume is roughly half the cost of CeraVe. ... show more
