Nice basic body wash by Amazon. It cleans well and gives a nice lather. It smells great, and I can still smell it the next day when I go into the bathroom. The consistency is a little thin but that is really the only complaint. I use it on a body scrubbie and is does run off easily. Otherwise the price is great for the product. It is at least half the cost of the brand names and cleans just as well. ⭐️ 1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality, or it does not reflect the advertising. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or is not priced where it should be for the product. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable. This is a really great body wash. It is extremely moisturizing and reminds me of the texture of the brand it says to compare it to. It is really thick and creamy and works into a good lather. A little of this goes a long way and it doesn't take much for your whole body. It leaves my skin so soft after using it. I also love that it has a very light fragrance. Works as well as the Dove version! The consistency, gentleness, and cleaning power of this Amazon Basics body wash reminds me a lot of what I receive from Dove. I have been using Dove body wash for many years. Next to one other brand, it has worked the best with my sensitive skin. I'm extremely pleased to have found this body wash. I can save a little while receiving the same benefits as I do with my leading brand. This body wash doesn't dry out my skin, nor does it irritate it either. This is a good value basic body wash. It lathers up really well and is very easy to apply to the skin. Provides nice moisturizing and does not leave a residue. There is a scent, but it's a background scent, not overpowering. All in all a good choice for your daily body wash.

The shape of the bottle as well as the description on the label try to suggest that this is a comparable replacement for the Dove Deep Moisture body wash. It is not, but this Amazon Basics Moisturizing Body Wash is not that bad either. Dove has a unique signature scent, which this product attempts to emulate to some degree (but not very successfully), but it does leave the lotion feel typical of Dove products, and definitely helps moisturize the skin. While it may not be at the level of quality of much more expensive name brand body washes, this is a solid budget friendly option. It is lightly scented and pleasant. Good moisturizing properties and rinses clean. This has become my go-to wash for my kids and guest bathroom. Excellent value.

I wasn’t expecting much from this body soap but I was mildly surprised. The soap is okay, it smells very mild (reminds me of hotel soap because of the smell), and it doesn’t dry on my skin while using it. It’s not irritating which I like. It’s not the best soap and comparing to other body washes, I think this one would better suit third place if anything. I think if they changed the formula it would be better. ... show more
