Underwear is full size diaper like brief replacement, used with pants or when complete coverage is needed for more flow protection. Shields are tiny, good with jockey strap or swim trunks for those times when leakage is not likely and bulkiness unwanted. guards are perfect for shorts, they handle the occasional inevitable leaks and odors with throw away convenience, and they are far more economical than underwear. while the package instructions suggest these attach to briefs i find that doesn't work well. skip the brief and attach directly to the inside of the shorts for confident all day coverage. ... show more

I've been using these for about seven years, and for the price can't really complain. I would suggest them to anyone who has average needs, and with that, can wear one all day. They work for everyday wear, but do not hold enough fluid for serious leakage, such as what happens if I'm very active. I've had prostate cancer and after which this product was a need. During active times, I will have to change them out before bed, or after a long walk or work day. There is no way you can just GO in these during an emergency, as they will fill quickly. I've found that wearing two or three at a time (Big bump) will allow any activity without leaks. I am currently looking for a more absorbent solution, but still order these as the baseline. ... show more
