The King 10" Plush feel to me is a medium, compared to others saying they were medium firm. It was supportive yet it did give when on my side and didn't get pressure from my wide shoulders. Also, soft enough that my skinny butt didn't get numb when on my back. Also I have to be careful with low back pain and it actually felt better right away. I think this is an amazing price and I prefer all foam over springs. The cover is zippered so it can be removed for washing. The weight is around 60 pounds and another foam bed I tried was rated medium firm and weighed 90 pounds. And it was very firm with the slightest if give or softness. So with foam weight relating to density, this one is 30% less weight which equates to density and less dense equal soft. There are a lot of odd reviews to sort threw, and even some very nasty comments and replies. I wish Amazon would block these too rude of people. If you get thinner mattress, you simply cannot use my comments on thinner mattress, but probably could equate to the thicker 12". Also if you have a serious box spring with actual springs that give. I spent a couple weeks reading numerous reviews on Amazon and other websites before I chose this mattress. In the end I made the right decision by ordering this product. The mattress was fully formed within 24 hours, but I waited the entire 72 hours until I placed it in the frame to avoid any damage from premature usage. I rated the Comfort level as 4 stars instead of 5 because it is described as plush, but I feel it is probably one level below this description. The mattress is very comfortable. However, this is not an ultra expensive gel memory foam mattress. Set your expectations accordingly. In summary, I am well satisfied with this product, and I would order it again. When I need another mattress someday, Amazon Basics will be my first choice. ... show more

This mattress turned out to be pretty nice. I ordered this for a toddler and its exceptional for a child. Maybe not perfect for an adult but I would sleep on it no problem. When I opened it up ( I have ordered several beds in a box) I was sceptical. It took longer to expand than others I have experienced but it still only took a couple of hours to fully expand. It definitely doesn't take the 24-72 hours recommended. The biggest issue I have with this mattress is the smell. I have read about mattresses having this chemical smell but this is the first time I have actually experienced it. And I thought people were being dramatic. But it's actually incredibly strong and I could even taste it. That's the reason I gave this mattress 4 stars instead of 5. For the price this is a great mattress. Especially if you're looking for a high quality children's bed. But definitely let it air out somewhere with good ventilation. ... show more

Ordered this to replace my Serta mattress of 4+ years. I was skeptical because of the price since my mattress cost so much more but this one was just right. I don't like them too soft or hard, it took a lot of self control waiting for it to open up and get "settled" but it was worth it!
