I was never one to use pod laundry detergent, but I finally decided to give it a try because I grew sick of the liquid soap dripping every where and drying in the measuring cup. Those are definitely not a problem with this product! I love how quick and easy it is to just throw them in the washer and start it without a mess! They also look so aestheically pleasing in my glass laundry soap jar, if you are one of those people who go for a certain vibe in your laundry dry room. For a full load of clothing I usually use 2 pods and that seems to work perfectly. My clothes get so clean. I love that these are hypoallergenic and do not have a strong scent because I love to use scent booster. These are perfect so that I do not have to worry about clashing scents. I never notice any residue on my clothes after cleaning either, which can happen with powders or liquids. I highly reccomend you purchase these.

Look, I'm thinking the reason why cleaning clothes in the washing machines (that don't have those 'agitators' and a way you can pause and restart the actual 'swishing' part of the work a washing machine does) is because the machines seem to be all glorious looking and cool as heck and YET they really NICELY swish (top loaders) or flop (front loaders) clothes around for a short period. So it's really unfair to put a grade/score/rating on detergent. But you want to KNOW THIS: you'll need like 3 or 4 of these pods for a good size load.

My MIL loves these pods! We got them for a steal originally for $8ish dollars (September-ish of 2022). She is JUST now needing another container. The woman is a washing machine (haha), and she said one pod went a long way. I am not a big fan of lavender scented things in general, but these are not overpowering. I'd recommend to those who like the scent- if not, we use the clear unscented version! Forever repurchasing these for her.

I decided to give some of the Amazon Basics brand items a try, to see if I could possibly save our family some money on things we regularly use. We were skeptical at first because of how many pods you get compared to name brand at roughly the same price, but these work fantastic. I haven’t noticed any difference in our laundry since switching to these, and for about the same price, you get significantly more pods with Amazon Basics. I hope they continue to make more Amazon brand everyday products because so far, the majority do seem to be just as good of quality as name brand, but you get so much more from Amazon brand. The saving’s definitely add up over time!

Only 4 stars for this reason: Normally, I drop the pod into the washer, then pile clothes on top of it as the washer is still filling. I have been washing clothes this way for years now and have never had a problem with staining. You can’t do that with THESE particular pods! Make sure the pod is fully dissolved before adding clothes. I have not had any problems with stains on clothes since doing it this way. Other than that, I love them and they do a great job getting my clothes clean.

One of the best things about Amazon basics is that they often go on sale. Their brand never fails me and is comparable to all the top name brands that cost 2-4 times as much. We have never seen a reduction in quality or Efficiency by switching. The scent isn’t strong, which was the point for us but do not expect clothes to come out with the nearly nauseating chemically enhanced scent of Tide. That’s not necessary for clean clothes and that’s exactly what comes out with this.

In the past, I never really gave pods of any type a chance. Now, I will be replacing my heavy detergent and fabric softener’s that are not only heavy on the shelf, but have a high percentage of water added to them. I find the pods to be very lightweight and convenient. This brand seems to clean as well as my liquid detergent.
