As a computer science teacher, I often spend a lot of time in front of a laptop. I struggled to find a shelf that provided the right height and depth for my computer. Then I tried this portable stand. It is lightweight, easy to maneuver, great size for smaller desks, and works like a charm. I am able to adjust the height of the base so my screen is eye level and there is no neck straining taking place. In addition, it is sturdy enough to hold my MacBook in place while I constantly type. Good quality! I'd recommend if you're looking for a laptop stand. I have a 16" laptop that's pretty heavy, and this thing holds it just fine. The silicone pads help it stay in place. It doesn't slip at all. Yes, the joints are stiff, but this is a good thing because they don't move when you don't want them too! I could adjust them just fine! Overall, the metal is high quality and sleek, and for the price, this thing is worth it. Highly recommend.

Just like the item title states, it is nice and sturdy. Basic and simple - just the way it should be. The silicone pads do a good job in keeping the laptop in place. I use my laptop (Dell XPS 15) for X-Plane simulator and keeping the laptop elevated helps with the airflow underneath to prevent overheating.

It is well designed and works very well with my 14 inch MBPro. It's light but sturdy and has a small footprint. If you are one that has a heavy hand (with your palms or push hard with each key stroke) with typing, your laptop will shake a little as you type but I don't find that bothersome to me. When you adjust it to a new position it will stay there. Very good value.

This laptop stand has been such a good addition to my desk. It lets me use my PC and laptop together without drowning in devices and keyboards, and it keeps everything in a layout that makes sense instead of chaos. It is very sturdy — like, almost too sturdy — but I’d rather fight with it for a second than risk it collapsing under actual weight. It’s advertised as a laptop stand, but I use it for everything: my iPad as a second screen, random books, a small keyboard, basically anything flat that needs to sit upright. Way more versatile than I expected. If you want one stand that can multitask right along with you, this is it.
