    • Decent Laptop Stand for the Price
I needed a laptop stand for my main system which I use for everything from email to light gaming. My previous solution failed. I have had good fortune with Amazon's "house brand" items so I was willing to give this one a try. It's a decent stand for the price, though there's room for improvement. This is a double-hinged aluminum laptop stand that can handle laptops up to 15.6" comfortably and up to 17" on the far end if necessary. Although not ideal for such it would work for a tablet too. I am using it with a 15.6" system. The laptop fits nicely and I have confidence that it will not slip off. It took a little adjusting to get it just right, but it's not hard to adjust at all. My one complaint is that it is very slightly wobbly. I have to use a light touch when typing if I want to avoid a bunch of wobble and bounce, though it is not a deal breaker. It would be nice if the hinges were a little stiffer. This is a decent laptop stand at a reasonable price. It's not perfect but it's worth the asking price. ... show more

Very nicely made with good quality materials. I have a fairly heavy Dell engineering laptop and while this stand can support it, I can't lower the angle on the top to any less than 10 degrees or so or the weight flattens the stand. The laptop always has to be tilted towards me, which is fine for me, but if you want to use this on a standing desk or something and have the keyboard be flat, it will only work with lighter laptops. The back and forward stability is a little lacking with the laptop elevated and typing on the keyboard will cause the stand to wobble back and forth a little. Besides that, it's a really nice looking stand and appears to be high quality. I like the range of adjustment on it and the cutout in the middle for better laptop cooling. It's just OK for a heavy laptop, but should be great for a lighter one. ... show more

It's nothing outstanding, but it does the job. If you have a modern laptop that's fairly small, I think this will do just fine. Even some slightly heavier ones will work. It fails to hold particularly heavy laptops, like the very large gaming laptops. it's unfair to expect it to hold those, though. Ready to go out of the box, there is no set up or adjustments. That said, this is best use if you were using a docking station/keyboard because there’s no way to lock in the height. If you’re adding pressure by typing on it, it MAY not hold.

This laptop stand riser works well, it can hold up the weight of the laptop without sliding down. There are some options to adjust the angle. However, I find it a bit stiff to adjust the riser. I suppose it will get easier as I use it more often but it was very hard to expand it when I first took it out of the box. My laptop can be folded so I folded it backward to use it like a tablet and used a keyboard to type, which worked very well with this riser. However, I did find it a bit awkward to use when I used the laptop with the keyboard on the riser. ... show more
