The finish/look is nice. Hinges are snug so it doesn't sink on its own. Supports a heavy laptop no problem, and the silicone pads work great to keep it in place. It's not loose or wobbly, but it is springy so if the desk shakes, so does the laptop. The adjustability is great, can get the height and angle exactly where I want it. Folds pretty flat to stow away. Really, this is the only one I ever considered on account of looking and working better than the other designs.

Quality: The overall quality of this laptop stand is awesome. It has a nice a nice brushed aluminum look to it, which matches nicely with my room's decor. It feels nice and it has a good weight to it. I got this for use strictly in my home for my 17" HP Omen gaming laptop, so I didn't care about it's portability factor. Stability: I didn't want one that was too lightweight, so it wouldn't slide around on the table when I'm gaming. This laptop stand is as stable as a rock. Adjustability: The hinges on the stand have the perfect amount of tension. Not too soft, not too hard. If I need to adjust the height or angle of my laptop, I can always get it to the correct alignment I'm looking for. Versatility: As I only use this for my gaming laptop, I can't really review it's versatility too much; but I'm sure if you want to use it for a tablet or something, it'd be just fine. Summary: Amazon created a wonderful laptop stand and for a great price! Highly recommended!

Great laptop stand. Affordable, nice and sturdy. Holds my laptop well with no movement at all. My biggest criticism is that it can be difficult to adjust but I only needed to do it once so it was not a big deal for me. Recommend if all you need is a very basic stand and DO NOT need to adjust it often.

Glad i found this stand, it is perfect for my need. I have used it "off desk" too. at a fine art trade show it was ideal for my iPad to showcase our website, letting people easly browse my website. Very solid, does not collapse unexpectedly. It is a winner and great value.

I use this to keep my laptop at the same height as my other monitors so I can have 3 displays at all times. It’s sturdy, allows for easy adjustment and made my work station that much more productive. I use a separate keyboard so I cannot speak to how well it stays when typing on the laptop.

I looked at a ton of different stands before deciding to purchase this one. I wanted something simple and sleek. It takes a bit of muscle to get this stand to open to the height and angle you want, but once you do that, it stays put. It is good quality and very sturdy. I got the silver color and it looks sleek on the counter top. I have also used it for a cookbook in the kitchen. Overall, I am really happy with my purchase.
