I recently went on a 6 day camping trip with my family of 5. I love this tent, one thing I was looking for on a tent is that it had zipped up windows since I’ve stayed in tents with mesh windows and it gets very cold inside compare to zipped up windows. It was raining for 3 out of the 6 days I used this tent and let me say this tent did its job by keeping everything dry inside. No water leakage, very easy to set up very important specially when setting up under the rain. The tent I bought is the 8 person tent but was only able to fit comfortably 5 cots that were a bit big. This tent is so easy to fold up and doesn’t take a lot of room. Durability is great, I’ve only used it this trip and I’m hoping it stays in good shape for many years to come. Pricing for this tent was really good compared to other brands. I highly recommend this tent.

Good in the rain, great price.

Ok, I had my doubts about camping in an Amazon Basics tent, but I have to say I’m honestly impressed. Tent arrived in about two weeks, set it up in my backyard and subjected it to two days of rain to test for leaks. No rain got in. This last weekend I took it camping up in the Adirondacks. Set up was simple and easy, took maybe 15 minutes tops. I do recommend putting a tarp underneath the tent. The inside is big, we had 3 inflatable mattresses inside, a queen and two twins holding 4 people plus our bags, which took the tent to about 95% capacity. So, for your average family, I’d say this is just right. It rained on our final day day there, and again no rain got inside. It folded back up pretty quickly and stores itself neatly in its bag, which is about the size of a golf club bag. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Best tent I've ever had

This was so easy to set up and take down. My son said it took longer to read the instructions than set up. Roomy, spacious very good quality. We're tall people (6 ft for the shortest) and you could stand up and move around easily. I don't know how comfortable 6 people would be but they could fit. I always think that a 6 person tent is really nice for 4 people. It didn't rain but we had had heavy dew and fog and the walls weren't soaked. The zippers worked great. We didn't even have to use the stakes. It stayed in place for 2 days. It set up and took down in less than 5 minutes. Just lock the poles (or unlock). One person could easily do this. The rain fly just snapped onto the poles. Happy camping.

Easy set up

The tent was easy to set up. The instructions were easy to understand. It was nice to lay out the tent and clip the poles into place. Easy to set up for one person. All the zippers work and looks to be well made. Hopimg it will.last quote a while. I'm 6'3" and had plenty of space to stand. Lots of room on the inside. Looking forward to using this tent a lot.

Spacious and well worth the price

One pole we have to twist to get it in the right position but tent is spacious. Fast set up/ take down. Zippers work great we’ve used it 4 times with no issues. We bought better stakes to use to hold it down when camping in windy weather. We’ve used it with 2 queen air mattresses, a twin sleeping mat, and a sleeping bag still had room to walk around inside

Stay away from this tent!

This tent does pop up easily. When we got it, we assembled and disassembled it to make sure we knew how to do it. Then we went camping. Assembly was easy, and the tent was fine. But when we went to take it down, to properly pack the tent the longer support legs have to contract. 3 of them did, one did not. It was entirely seized up. I worked for an hour to try and get it to retract and could not. This meant the tent could not be properly packed, which in turn meant we could not fit the still expanded tent in our car. We had to dump it at the campground. To add to the insult of the defective product, Amazon refused to give us a refund since we could not return the tent. Which we could not because it failed. Very frustrating. I would STRONGLY advise against getting this product.

A must have

Absolutely love this. It is so spacious. Was able to fit 2 queen blow up bed and still had a lot of room left for a table in the middle. The set up was so easy and quick. I did it with 2 people. I would recommend this.

Large, easy to set up

Better than anticipated! Loved the size, the ease with which it was put up, and the height! Not a fan of how the "room divider" divides, but it works. Despite the photos, for some reason I was expecting a little more separation, but you have to go through the first 'room' to access the second. Other tents that I looked at that had 2 rooms had 2 side-by-side entrances. Still, very pleased with the tent overall. Did not get to test the water resistance, luckily, but it does seem like a good, sturdy tent that is easy to put up, even with three 7 year old boys running around the camp site.
