I bought two of these nicely priced mattress pads for my daughters. One was fine. The other one, once opened, was found to have something dark and hard sewn into the pad. Upon slicing it open, it appeared to be some sort of dirty, fibrous mass inside. Gross. We are returning it for a refund. If not for that, the mattress pad would be a good one for the price. If it wasn't for the terrible choice of materials for the sides this thing might be fine. The description states: "Thoughtfully designed, the quilted mattress pad’s knitted fabric sides easily stretch to fit mattresses up to 18 inches thick, including extra-deep pillow top mattresses or mattresses with a foam topper. The pad offers user friendly placement—no need to wrestle with the mattress. Once in place, the mattress pad stays put, even when shifting or rolling over while sleeping." On the pad I received, the sides are made out of a very thin, slick and not very stretchy material that needs to be re-tucked every morning, because the sides will not stay in place under the mattress. The pad wrinkles as you sleep so you end up with a super uncomfortable wrinkle under your back in the morning. ... show more

Great price and it seems like good quality. Didn't see any threads hanging out. Feels soft. It really keeps everything together (I have a 3" men foam topper above a inexpensive innerspring). I have a solid mattress and wasn't looking for an overkill mattress topper. This fits the bill. It's well made and very soft but not too think. It does make my mattress a bit warmer but I think its acceptable. One thing I also like about this topper is it has fabric on both sides. Some toppers use a cheap paper cover on the bottom that rips easily but this looks like it will stand the test of time. ... show more

Great quality. I've had cheap ones where the sides look like they're made of tissue paper and rip. Not this one. This has high quality elastic that looks like it'll stand up for years. The top is nicely padded and very comfortable as well.
