The size (2.5 x 6 feet) works well for most cardio equipment—large enough to cover the footprint of my bike with room to spare, yet not so bulky that it dominates the room. I was really surprised at the quality of this mat. I actually use it for yoga and floor exercises. It is slip resistant and the length and size is great. Wipes down easy for cleaning. Also a decent thickness. Overall a really nice workout mat.
