The fabric is really soft, it's bigger than I thought it would be, and it was easy for me to move around. I'm 5'8, 240 pounds and it holds me pretty well. I don’t get all the good reviews. Just took this chair out of the box and it is not at all comfortable. The metal bar in front has no padding at all. I hate to say this but this is a bomb from Amazon basics. At least it was only $50.

Too large for the space I wanted to use it in....the rod on the back of my legs hurt. There isn't any padding to speak of and a little difficult to get out of. Nice enough chair maybe more so for someone younger than me (70's) but that rod...ouch.. It does fold up easily.
