  • Indestructible? I don’t think so!
Color: Charcoal Pattern Name: Table
When I first got this table I thought it was the answer to all my sewing and crafting woes. I loved it! Perfect size - not too large, not too small. Seemed sturdy enough too. Used it when I needed extra space for a quick Serger project and it handled the Serger well. Used it to hold supplies, etc. Loved the variable height options. But then I started noticing things were rolling to the center. Just a bit at first and I thought it was just my imagination. Today I checked and was floored at how much the table top has bowed. A full inch and a quarter as you can see from the pictures. Obviously this is far from sturdy or indestructible. I can’t trust it now to hold anything over a couple of pounds - and only if I want things all rolling to the center! Obviously I’m not going to risk putting my Serger on it only to have it collapse. Great idea and would have been perfect if not for such cheap and poor materials. ***Update: Well, this is interesting. For 4 days I tried to submit this review with one star because this is a piece of junk! It would show submitted but would never get confirmation of the review so I would go back to the order details and see the review sitting there so I would submit it again. This went on for 4 days. Finally last night I changed it to 3 stars and guess what? The review posted! Now what does that tell you about Amazon reviews? I thought the reviews for this item seemed high but then thought maybe it was that good of a product. Makes me wonder about a lot of Amazon reviews now. I’ve refused to believe the stories of fake reviews (surely Amazon wouldn’t resort to such tactics) but guess I’ve been naive. One more point: The product description indicates there is a warrant but absolutely no way to contact the manufacturer. So I finally got someone on Amazon chat. Explained the problem, told them I had pictures, etc. It was obviously beyond the 30 day return window, but I felt something should be done with the warranty. Chat response: “I can refund your purchase less a 20% restocking fee. Will that work for you?” My response: “No, that won’t work. For one, you can’t restock this table because there is something wrong with it! Needs to be under a warranty.” Next chat comment: “Could you take it to UPS to return it?” My response: “Yes, but I don’t have any box to put it in. UPS would have to box it up.” Chat response: “Are you sure you don’t have some kind of a box to put it in?” Seriously? Like I keep a supply of large boxes in the garage just for such an occasion. I’m not sure what I am more disappointed in. The fact that this table turned out to be of such poor quality that the top warped within 5 months of use, or the inadequacy of Amazon support, or discovering first hand that the review process at Amazon is corrupt. ... show more

  • A Perfect Solution: Except for one Flaw Which This Tip will solve For You.
Color: Charcoal Pattern Name: Table
This table is perfect, except for one flaw, which I'm going to solve for you right now. It's very unstable. If you have it stacked with some stuff and try to move it, the legs pop off pretty easily, especially on carpet. Eventually I learned to grip the legs when moving it. Now, however this tip will fix this on a permanent basis, and it still allows you to break it down if you need for travel to a show or storage, etc. Basically, I got two types of gorilla style tape. One was double stick with a blue paper you have to peel off. It's 1.5 inches in width 1) Cut 4 - Four inch lengths. 2) Slip the tape horizontally within the slot where you want to put the bars. If you press it in lightly with your fingers it works. Be careful as it's sticky and you don't want it to stick to itself. There should be enough to go deep into the groove with some left over to stick to the sides of the grooves. 3) Put the legs in. Make sure that they are in the way that allows the grooves to be taped over. If the "wrong" way the legs block the tape from going across the groove. Press firmly so they are nice and tight. This adds a shim effect, plus the sticky part. 4) Put a nice 4 inch strip of regular duct tape across the bar, sticking both to the tape underneath and the plastic sides. 5) Those legs are going nowhere now. If you have to move it, you can undo the tape and stitch it back up when you arrived at your destination. But this makes it a carefree desk/table according to your goals. You are welcome! ... show more

  • Mine is different than shown...
Color: Charcoal Pattern Name: Table
I like the table and it does work for me, but buyer beware. Item photo shows a notch in the left side of the table as if to allow the legs to fold under mechanically. Mine has no notch, and the legs must be completely detached from table, then snapped into the various channels underneath which allows for various heights. You can see the pic I provided of mine underneath. Item photo shows 4 rounded table edges which are flat to the edge then rounded as expected. Mine has a full 1" bevel on one long edge as if to rest forearms. The other 3 sides have the expected edge. You can see in the pics I provided. If you need all 20" to be flat, beware. Overall a good construction and solid table as delivered, and for my purposes of cardistry demonstration it's fine and I like the large bevel on one side only. Be aware the table legs are not attached to the table with any sort of hinge. They must be completely unsnapped from the table and adjusted to the desired width WHILE snapping the table onto the legs. I'm not thrilled about this and it could certainly present issues for some customers. It is one less thing to break though, so that's a good thing. Overall a good buy on a solid table. Thought others may want to know there appear to be 2-3 different styles being shipped all with minor differences as described throughout the QA section and reviews. ... show more

  • It’s perfect
Color: Charcoal Pattern Name: Table
I have 8 dogs which require regular grooming. I was looking for a height adjustable, stabile table to brush them while watching tv and sitting on the couch. The table is very stabile and perfect for my needs. As you can see, one of my sheltie’s thinks, that he is a mountain goat and just jumps on it whenever he feels like it. No wobbling or anything. My heaviest dog is 28lbs. I cut a piece of rubber mat to size and put it on top to avoid slipping. It’s perfect! ... show more

  • Worse Folding Table ever collapses easily
Color: Platinum Pattern Name: Table
This is the worse of these tables I have ever used. It collapsed 5 times under simple use and since I am computing with an expensive laptop I switched back to a reliable table I got from Costco a decade ago. There is no way for the legs to lock into the grooves. Compare the 2 tables with the pics below. A good table has a spring on one side and metal re-reinforcement. A lousy "collapse for no reason at all" table fits loosely into 2 grooves with no stabilization. ... show more
