I would definitely order another if mine breaks. So easy to use. You can adjust the thickness and when putting it away you can adjust it to cover the blade. Love that I can hold it over a bowl to slice vs setting it over a bowl and having it slip and move constantly. Nice and sharp, hasn’t dulled through the year of slicing and canning yet. ... show more

Light weight, adjustable blade angle, extremely sharp, easy to clean and feed ramp can be locked flush with blade for cleaning and storage so as to not expose the blade while not in use.

I do like this mandolin slicer overall. It is a tad large, but I’m ok with that because it is easy to handle and operate. The adjustment knob is a nice feature - it goes between 3 levels of thickness and has a lock function. I found the thickest setting useful for sautéing larger vegetables (see the sliced peppers in the picture), where the thinnest was nice for salads and raw ingredients. The safety guard is also nice. It gets the pieces down pretty thin and it doubles as a protective cover over the blade. The blade, of note, is VERY sharp. So it is good that the cover goes over it and that it locks in place with the knob. My only issue with this slicer is the materials. The plastic it’s built with is relatively thin and doesn’t seem particularly durable. Which would be fine if the product was 30-50% cheaper. Overall, it’s a solid, functional addition to your kitchen gadgets but not the greatest value. ... show more
