The set replaced our last set that failed at the end of the tube handle due to aging and little doubt from hanging and baking in our unisulated garage in AZ. This set engineered the same with plastic joins connecting tube handles to the actual clipping unit. In time the plastic tips may fail, again, due to aging and cooking, and we'll likely be happy to replace again as the clippers themselves dull out and lose their edge.. Figured it was going to be a flop based on the cost of the loppers but they turned out to be pretty great. Light weight, sharp blade, strong handles. Was able to cut through branches with ease.

    • Light is the Iperative Word
This is Not an industrial tool. However, it cuts thru anything I’m willing to attack like butter. I’m no longer at the peak of my youth, so I hire someone to do the big stuff. These loppers handle the smaller stuff with ease, they are no problem to hold at arms length and the handle length provides good leverage. I wouldn’t go into the tee trimming business with these but roses and other bushes should be no problem. They work great for me. ... show more

A very sturdy product which is easy to use...Was pleased with the diameter of the branches I was able to cut. I went up to about 1 1/2 inches and believe if I had more strength in my arms, they easily would have cut two inches. Cut a lot of bushes down and then attacked some saplings that had grown up in the back yard. And, they are lightweight so that is an added bonus. Very pleased with this product . These work wonderful if you have thin branches or small trees less than 2 inch diameter. We have some by our creek and it worked great

There's not much difference in clippers, especially when they are new. This one is the lightest I've ever had, making it easy to use from and height or angle.
