    • Interesting Design Choice
I have dozens of hex keys in the shop, but was looking from compact folding sets that I could leave in my traveling tool box. This 3-pack of SAE/MM/STAR was attractive because it also included a set of Star keys which I find more and more of when doing repairs. All three sets have a good range of the most common keys you run into. Most folding sets have relatively short keys, but they are compact to maximize the number of tight spaces you can reach. These sets are not compact, but rather wide (2 inches) with rubber grips so you can get a good grip and apply considerable force to the key. So, they sacrifice storage space and access for increased torque. I can see these being used in the shop when I want to use only hand pressure and not an impact driver to loosen stubborn hex headed bolts. ... show more
