I bought this crate to help potty train my new puppy. He’s a big boy now and doesn’t need it anymore but it worked really well to keep him from going to the bathroom or tearing things up while I was sleeping or at work. He only had a few accidents in it but it was easy enough to clean. It’s quick and easy to assemble it or fold it down. And he fits in it still as an adult dog. And as an adult human woman I can also sit in it. The size I bought would be good for one very big dog or several small dogs or puppies. I just made it very comfortable in there and put a blanket over top to make it cave-like and he acclimated to sleeping in it well. I took him and the crate everywhere with me for the months I used it and my only gripe is that it was a little heavy and it doesn’t fit very well in the trunk of my sedan without folding down the seats but I needed a larger crate for him. I took i with me to peoples houses, I took it with me on my trip to Canada, and I brought it back home. I’ve folded and assembled many times and it still very durable and holds its shape and works well. I’m keeping it for the next time I get another puppy ... show more

We have a few solid-sided crates that have been used for our own and many foster dogs, but they are much heavier and a little smaller than we wanted. I was hoping this would fit the dog bed a little better than it does, but the bolsters may settle down a bit and the bottom may fit a little better after the dog uses the crate some more. Overall, she can easily fit inside and the door closes securely so that we shouldn't have to worry about her counter-surfing adventures when we are out of the house. Really like that she (and we) have full visibility on all sides. The divider panel had some bent wires, but we don't really need it and it could probably be easily straightened. Crate seems fairly sturdy and was easy to set up. Detachable handle for the top doesn't really seem very practical, but it's nice that a handle was included. Tray slides out of the bottom easily enough after unlatching the front. Overall, this will work well for our dog, but if we had a rambunctious escape artist it might get a little bent out of shape. ... show more

I purchased two of these cages. The 22 inch for our yorkie and a 30 inch one for our jack russell. I honestly could’ve purchased a 24 inch cage instead of the 30in. The cage was much larger than I expected. However, they both worked really well. Our yorkie is an escape artist and figured out how to open our last cage but he’s struggling with the latch on this cage and can not open it, which is great! They are very sturdy and the collapsible option is a plus! I would absolutely buy this item again and recommend to others! Great Buy! Seems sturdy, safe, and easy to use. I’ve had it over a year now and it’s holding up great. My dog is not particularly rowdy in her crate (except when I give her a good treat lol) nor does she ever try to break out so I can’t speak for more rambunctious dogs. So happy with this purchase. I used it as a foundation to build an insulated stray-cat house for the winter. It feels very sturdy and all the metal is coated to protect it from rust. The door latches are super quick and easy to open which makes changing the bedding from the side door easy. Easy to put together, even to get some large 2” thick foam insulation sheets inside.
