This bed frame is very well built and very simple to setup/takedown as needed. It also includes the ability to store items below the bed (which is a plus if you are a typical American who has way too much stuff). One of the best selling features of this for me was the ease of setup (doesn't have anything needed to screw in or mess with). It may be a little counter intuitive when first unfolding the legs, but once you press in both sides it allows the legs to easily go up and down. I've owned this item since July 2019 and plan on having and using it for years to come. Plus add that this is priced very well, and it is a no-brainer (especially if you move a lot, or need the ability to set it up when you have company and otherwise just store it elsewhere).

I've been sleeping on the AmazonBasics Foldable Platform Bed Frame - Tool-Free Assembly - Under-Bed Storage -Twin XL for a few months now and am pretty sure that many of the reviews posted are for similar products. Mine has no "design flaw" as pictured in one review- all support rods are pressed flat and no snag areas were found. The unit is solid- I noted that the center legs were slightly elevated when first opened, but leveled up once the mattress was placed on it- check the hinge areas to make sure no packing material became lodged in the hinge area. I have absolutely no "squeek" with my unit. Arrived quickly- ordered Friday arrived AM Sunday- well packed and easy set up (unpack it and unfold it, and you're ready to go). I really only planned to sleep on it for a few nights to make sure it was solid, but found it so comfortable (using a 6" memory foam mattress I also obtained from Amazon), that I just haven't bothered to move back to my air bed. The only thing I'd do different is get an 8" mattress instead of the 6"

It arrived undamaged, and was not over-packaged, but just right. Easy to unbox, easy to get it set up. I had help but I could see it was not difficult for the people who did it. It holds my mattress very nicely, and it does not shift around under me when I move in the night, It is tall enough to provide some storage underneath. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I got this as a bed frame for a temporary stay. This bed frame is easy to assemble out of the box with no requirement of tools. It has a two legs in the middle that was not touching the ground when I installed first, many people have pointed this out and it can cause a stability concerns, but after using it for a week - both these legs are now firmly grounded. I have been using this frame for about a month and it is quite stable. I have not encountered any creaks or sounds while sleeping. I have put a 6 inch spring mattress and it stays in place on the bed frame, not slipping. Since the frame can be completely folded like a ping pong table, it can be easily transported when moving within a city (i.e., in a car). I would recommend this bed frame to anyone (under 6' height and 200 pounds) who are looking for an economical bed frame as a temporary (I believe to be 6 month - 1 year) solution, may be it will last longer.

Purchased this about six months ago for a senior who can't always get up stairs for bedtime. It's a little too low for them so maybe should have gotten a taller version but a good, sturdy product. Very easy to assemble and I've had no issues with it.

We had our box springs on the floor with our mattress on top of them after getting rid of an old bedroom set. I felt it was time to get off of the floor so I bought this frame based on reviews. First of all set up is quick and easy. The frame is in two halves with a couple thumb screws holding them together. Honestly they're so lightweight I was worried. We set up the frame and put the mattress on minus the box springs and suprise... it's solid. Actually feels more solid than the box springs on the floor if thats possible and it's completely quiet, no squeaks. Well I've only had it up for a week so if it falls apart I'll update this review. Seriously it feels really good. Fingers crossed! UPDATE 12/17/18 Still solid and quiet as can be. Honestly I'm surprised but happy so far! UPDATE 1/19/2020 Still love it! Get one! UPDATE 12/9/2020 Last update... It's been over two years and this frame is still just as solid and quiet. Quality product.

Wanted a twin xl bed but a bed frame is overkill and normally too low for under bed storage. This one fits well for the average sized moving boxes, which I had a lot for years. Super easy to assemble - actually no assembling required, simply open it up. There is a 18" version that could have more storage underneath, but the bed would be a bit too high. I haven't checked the headboard option yet, but I don't think I will need one.
