This dog playpen is good for small dogs, not recommended for dogs that jump high; it is 2ft high. The gate is very lightweight and flimsy the plastic is thin. It is not collapsible so you need to break it down in sections of 2 if you don't want it permanently setup. This product does the job it's supposed to, it's a small pen for a small dog; it will definitely get the job done and hold up durability wise as long as you use it as it's supposed to be used.

I received this Amazon 6 Panel Basics Dog Playpen to evaluate and review. It arrived in excellent condition and was delivered by the promised date. I am so pleased with this dog playpen, although I am using it as a modification to my catio. The whole unit is so lightweight (approximately 16 pounds) and each piece can be detached, which makes it very easy to take with you to another location if needed. The panels just snap together to create various configurations. As far as my use goes, I wanted to create another area on my catio where it had a door that could be opened or closed off at different times. These panels worked great! It didn't matter how tall the panels are because they are being incorporated into the sides of the catio, so nothing can jump over them. The photo shows that the gate is just a pass-through from the larger area of the catio. These two panels are connected to the chicken wire that is stretched over the framework. Now I can open that section, or it can easily be closed off. I realize this is not the main purpose of this puppy pen, but it is working wonderfully for me. I am very satisfied with its ease of use, I like that it is lightweight and that it easily snaps together. It seems to be priced comparably to other similar items for sale on Amazon, so I would consider this to be a very good value. I definitely recommend this Amazon Basics Dog Playpen and I give it FIVE STARS. I hope this review has been helpful.

Used this to create some more space for our rabbit to roam while not allowing him to wander the whole house. It works well! It collapses easily when we need to move it, but is rigid enough to be a good pen for him and we don't worry about him escaping. Unsure if it would work for a dog unless it was really small, but for a rabbit, it's great!

This is a versatile, easy to assemble play pen. The sections snap together easily. You can assemble up to 6 sections (the size that I got) to suit your needs. It feels sturdy but not too heavy. The hinges feel secure even though I had no problem pulling them apart to put it away. It comes with little rubber feet that can be installed on the bottom to keep it from scratching wood floors. The little door has 2 latches that need to be turned to lock it unlock it. To prevent those smarter best friends from unlocking it on their own.

We have a very large dog who has no problem jumping fences outside the house, but we've come to learn that he's totally controlled by short gates in the house. This is big enough for him to roam and hang out comfortably, and he's able to bump into the sides without this thing even wobbling. So easy to assemble and it shipped so compact I didn't realize what it was.

Super lightweight fence that can be used for multiple purposes. Actually got it to block off my loft from my dog being able to go in there because I keep my cats litterboxes and food in the loft and my dog loves sneaking up there and eating the food and litter. This works great for that purpose but I can imagine it being used as a baby play area or keeping small pets in a secure area.

I got this playpen for my 10 mo daughter to play next to me while I’m cleaning or cooking. She loves it and it’s perfect little place full of toys for her. I know it says dog playpen but I’m not sure if it worked for a dog just because it’s not tall enough. It definitely would work for a puppy or a tiny breed. It’s very lightweight and easy to set up.
