What can I say? Considering I just needed something decent for my in-home office desk, I was pleasantly surprised to find how well this little speaker works. Sound quality is excellent considering the price. Can get VERY loud, easily enough to use as a mini sound system if you want. (Actually that's what I intend as soon as more arrive.) Size isn't too big or too small. Just right, I'd say. It was exceptionally easy to connect. Had no problems there. Now... I did read comments saying the "CONNECTED" and "DISCONNECTED" was loud and annoying, but personally I didn't find it annoying at all. It IS loud, but I think that's a good indicator to whether or not the bluetooth connected properly. Battery life is decent. It lasts the 6 hrs it claims. I haven't tried throwing it in the pool yet, so I haven't a clue if it's waterpproof as it claims. (Don't intend to find out either.) ... show more

    • Absolutely amazing for the size and price.
I don't write a lot of product reviews, but this item deserves one. This speaker is tiny - about 4 inches square and perhaps 1.25 inches thick. It's heavy, solid, good-looking, and seemingly well made. But it's the performance that amazes me. I have been an audio technician since 1977, and I have never seen a speaker this small, bluetooth or not, at any price, that sounds this good. Within its limited volume limit of about 80dBa, it is positively amazing. Even the smallest details are well-executed. It has rubber feet on the bottom and on the back, and those feet are pneumatic - they work very effectively as dampeners to keep the speaker from vibrating the surface they sit on, or from moving around. The metal mesh grille has a black grille cloth behind it to keep dust out of the driver and to make it look that much better. Want to be amazed? Pair this with your phone, pull up a music streaming service, and the set the little thing on the floor in a corner. Be prepared to be amazed. And for 20 bucks? I'm buying about three more of them. ... show more

Sounds good only complaint is I have to turn the volume up on my phone in order to be able to turn up the volume on the speaker. If phone is on lower level the speaker volume control does nothing.

    • Sound skips frequently
The sound skips about once every minute. I thought the problem was on my computer's end, but the same thing happens with every other device I try to connect it to. Unfortunately didn't realize that til the return window was closed, so I'm throwing it out.

This bluetooth speaker is packed with sound. I was able to easily pair it with my Amazon Cube and watch tv using a computer monitor. Good value for the price!

Like the sound. Like the size. Like the USB-C charging. Like the lanyard. Like that it's splash-proof. Dislike the VERY LOUD "POWER ON" or "POWER OFF" announcements. Dislike that the + and - buttons only go backwards and forwards in the track/podcast, not change the volume. Those two dislikes make this a "don't recommend" for me. But as I have it and it works, I'll keep using it, but it's not one I would tell others to get. ... show more
