I wanted a slim laptop tray that could serve as a stand up desk when I wanted to stand at my desk and I could easily remove when I wanted to sit. This does the job, although it is not as sturdy and does shake a little when I type. It has two pads- a wrist pad for a mouse which I use and one for the keyboard which I do not. I like the adjustable height and it worked for me since I am shorter and I have a cabinet over my desk and another monitor to the side. I could get it exactly to the right height for me. I bought this because I often use my laptop on a coffee table in our living room. This stand moves up but it ships in its lowest setting which is about the size of a coke can off of the table. The highest setting isn't high enough to use when standing but it does offer some options in case the lowest setting isn't the one for you. The table top swivels forwards and backwards and that helps but I gotta find a mouse pad that will hold my mouse so it doesn't roll down to the rubber stopper on the base of the table top (which is included). Overall it is a good buy but I think $39.99 is a bit much for this but so long as it lasts me at least a year, I won't complain. ... show more

i got it used, so it didnt come with the little tray things to hold it in place even though it said it was complete. still, it holds great! im able to sit slightly crosslegged with it as well which is nice. its very sturdy and has been great for my neck since im no longer looking directly down while i draw lol ... show more

The first line in the instructions (which of course I did not read until after I used it) states to watch out for not pinching your fingers - which of course happened to me the first time I folded the legs down again. I would therefore not recommend this for children or adults who do not read ;). I got the medium size and am glad I did not go for large. I think large would have made it to unwieldy and too wide for most chairs. I like the the leg height can be adjusted seperately. When using in in bed I noticed that my mattrass is sloping a bit. By adjusting one leg I could counteract that. I also do not like that the removable mouse stopped is deeper than the laptop stopper. It forces me to either remove the mouse stopper or place the laptop on the left side only. I ended up removing the stopped. This device definitely makes working on my laptop in bed or a loungechair a lot easier. For the price it is definitely good. ... show more

It's just what I need for my desk, it gives me a chance to get up and get my blood circulating instead of sitting all day. It just has a crack it it. I'm hoping that it doesn't break because I needed this today and didn't want to ship back and wait on a new one.

I returned a similar product (different brand) that was almost 2x the price of this and am happy I did bc this is more adjustable with both the height and the angle of the tabletop, and is also much sturdier than the more expensive one as well.

This is very versatile - I use it in bed mostly to hold my laptop but also as a table for food, and I also have put it on another table to create a sort-of standing desk. Works great for both. I specifically wanted one that I could adjust the angle for so it's easier on my wrists when I type, but I'm worried this one will break over time. The pieces of plastic that snap into place to maintain the angle sometimes feel like they will break. So far I haven't had any issues though. My only other issue is that the lowest height isn't an actual spot that can snap in. That rarely becomes relevant but I wish they would've had that as a height option as well. It's very easy to adjust the height though. I will say that it isn't the lightest one I've ever had, but it is sturdy which makes up for it. ... show more

I have a neck injury. When I look down at my laptop sitting on a table/desk my neck becomes painful. If I stay too long in that situation the pain becomes debilitating and I can't do much the rest of the day. For years I had the laptop on a cardboard box so that I hold my head level erect. This allows me to work longer without pain. When my Adjustable Laptop Tray Table arrived, I adjusted it within just a few minutes. The forward tilt of the desk is better than the level cardboard box. A nice benefit is that the area beneath the cardboard box was unusable, where the tray table allows room for some handy desk items like a crock with pens and highlighters, and incoming mail!
