I had one of these for over 2 years adjusted to fit the back of my 02 Tahoe, my wife's old 03 Rav4 and her current 14 Highlander. Went to go install it in the new Jeep and realized I lost one of the screws when selling the Tahoe so now I'm here to buy another one. This barrier has been a real seat-saver! Keeps my giant GSD from crawling out of the trunk and into the seats. (A real driving distraction, as you might imagine, also not very safe!) It was a bit of a pain to set up, but it is very sturdy once in place. I have a 2023 Outback and it fits well enough that he cannot get his head around either side. I love it, but he does not approve. He'd rather be in the front seat. (which is very unsafe, btw) Overall, it works great, but could have been designed in a way that makes it easier to set up. ... show more

I'm not impressed. One of the uprights that attach the barrier to the seats was too short and it broke. The instructions are a farce. I had to thumb through to find a diagram. We rigged a fix for the broken parts as we need to protect our dogs. I would design this differently. I would put two sliding partitions on the main one and make assembly that much easier. ... show more

Concept is good, but you get what you pay for. The hardware to put it together is cheap plastic and the clips that hold the barrier pieces together were very hard to attach and three of the eight you need splintered while trying to attach, it is a very very tight fit. Ended up using zip ties for 3 the that broke, and actually that worked much better that the clips. Additionally, the hooks that attach to the headrest are also cheap plastic and I used bungie cords in addition to the hooks to get a more secure fit. Tried it out and it worked fine for the puppy, as he grows, I may need to invest in a higher quality barrier. If the hardware was better, I'd give it 5 stars as the fit was great in my Subaru Forester. ... show more
