This powerful 1500W convection toaster oven heats up quickly, with a temperature range from 200°F to 450°F, making it great for everything from toasting to baking. I was surprised by how lightweight it is, it’s easy to move outside for patio cooking or entertaining as needed. I needed a new toaster oven as my current one was failing and wasn't very good to begin with, and I wanted a bit larger one so I didn't have to use the full size oven as much. This toaster oven fit the bill, was reasonably priced, and even added convection/air frying capability; so I decided to give it a try. The oven came reasonably well packaged and fits well with other steel and black countertop appliances. It has 3 rack positions and comes with a regular rack, a baking tray, and a wire mesh basket for air frying. It also has a crumb tray to make cleaning easier, but the tray seems about an inch short, so some crumbs can get below it. The controls are analog, which is part of what keeps the price reasonable. It has functions for Air fry, Toast, Broil, Pizza, Warm, Roast, and Bake. It is unclear what some of the differences in these settings do, but the obvious parts (explained in the manual) are if the convection fan is on and which heating elements are used (top, bottom, or both). The temperature control knob is analog, so precise temperatures are difficult to set, but this is a toaster oven so how much precision is needed. It can be easily set to within 20 degrees F or so. The final control is the analog timer. Again, limited ability to set it precisely, but reasonable for the price. The one thing it does not have is a permanent ON, so if you are baking for over an hour, you will need to restart the timer to keep it going. I haven't had it long, but have made a couple tests. It worked reasonably well as a toaster, with fairly even browning. Setting the desired color was a bit tricky with the timer, but if you keep an eye on it, it works well. Definitely better than my old Black & Decker one that would go from light to burnt in a very short period of time. I tried the air fry function by making some tortilla chips out of some tortillas I had. I found the heat was very even and the chips came out a consistent color across the entire basket. I got a bit distracted and they were all just a touch overdone in part due to the lack of precision in the timer. I would suggest using a separate digital timer if precision timing is needed. PROS: -Reasonably priced and reasonable build quality for the price point. -Attractive on the countertop -Even heating -3 rack positions -Good size (12" deep x 12" wide) CONS: -Analog temperature control makes precise temperature setting more difficult. -Analog timer makes precise time, Toast color setting difficult. -Uninsulated so hot to touch top, a bit less efficient. -Toast function requires you still set the temperature knob. - Crumb tray does not cover entire bottom of oven. Overall, particularly for the price point (~$60 at time of review), this seems like a decent toaster/convection oven. If you want an air fryer/convection/toaster oven without breaking the bank, I would recommend giving this one a try.

Pros: (1) reasonably quiet and the DING isn’t too loud. On TOAST and WARM, it just ticks. On the other settings, it ticks and there’s a fan noise also, but not too bad. (2) there’s not a lot of toxic smell to burn off. You should probably still do it outside, but it’s not as bad as some. CONS: (1) The top dial (temp set) gets really hot. The other two don’t, but NONE of them should. I can accept that the sides and top get hot, but NOT the dials. The handle stays cool. (2) the print of the dials is really small and hard to read, even with glasses. You have to stoop down and look under the knobs. AND there’s no indicator line to tell you what setting you’re on. Just an indentation on the knobs.

it's amazing that this toaster oven / air fryer is just 70$ otd --definitely a great value. last year i bought the best one money can buy (nearly $500 otd), so i ordered this one for my church. but i guess the joke's on me, because now they say they don't need/want it! lol. so i'll have to find somebody who needs a toaster oven, as this is too good, with its numerous functions, to drop off at the charity shop. for the price, i don't think you're gonna beat this one. it's not all that different from the one for which i paid seven times as much P(although obviously not the same level of excellence or flawless functioning).

The Amazon Basics 6-slice toaster oven with built-in air fryer is a decent multi-function appliance, especially for the price. It covers a lot of ground—baking, toasting, air frying, and more—with a fairly generous 23-quart capacity that fits a small pizza or multiple slices of bread. The air fryer function works well for basics like fries and nuggets, and the adjustable temperature and timer are simple to use. It heats up quickly and cooks evenly for the most part. That said, the build quality feels somewhat budget, and the exterior gets quite hot during use. The controls are mechanical, not digital, which some may prefer for simplicity, but they lack the precision of more premium models. The accessories included are handy but lightweight. Overall, it’s a good option for casual use or smaller kitchens, but it doesn’t quite match the performance or finish of higher-end brands. Solid value—but with a few compromises.
