I spent a good minute trying to find a decent plate set and I came across these. I read a bunch of the reviews and found some of them a little questionable. I’ve had this set for about a month now and let me tell you, they are amazing. They are lightweight but still sturdy. I have tried the microwave test and with food on them, they do not come out unbearably hot. The food gets warm, but the plates/bowls are actually fine to hold after a 2-3min warm up. At worst, you can pull it out with a paper towel with not issues. The bowls are big enough to hold a single pack of instant ramen (for those who care about size) and the two different plate sizes are very convenient to have. I absolutely love the sleek design and highly recommend them. The pictures above show spaghetti on a large plate with a salad in a bowl, and the second food picture is miso chicken ramen for size reference.I’m rating the durability and sturdiness as a 4 star because I feel that if you do drop it, it might break, but otherwise they’re great, in my opinion. ... show more

    • Great dinnerware set! Smaller Helping - Healthy size!
Color: Modern Beams
I LOVE this dinnerware set. One large plate had a chip in it, but the rest of them are great and have held up well so far as the main dishes we use on a daily basis, with grandchildren visiting regularly. I love that they are nearly square, like the cabinets. They also are good for smaller plate meals. We, as Americans, are too used to eating TOO MUCH! I like these plates because they are not huge. They don't hold a ton of food. I feel like they can help us to not overfill our plate and overfill our bellies. Dishwasher safe so easy to clean. I love the black & white color. Goes well with my kitchen colors, or any colors. I LOVE THEM! ... show more
