I think it goes without saying but make sure you wash your new dishes... Mine looked clean but you could physically feel dust all over the plates and bowls. Aside from that these look pristine white and I prefer the thin and light but quality feeling dishes as opposed to overly stylized or patterned plates. I don't need my dishes to weigh 45 lbs if I stack up 8 of them out of the dishwasher to put them away - These are nice and light yet sturdy feeling and makes food more appealing to the eye. :) good stuff would buy again. ... show more

The plates are beautiful! I love the curve and they are a standard size. However, they are not chip resistant at all, they chipped the first time in the dishwasher. They still get the job done but I think next time I will opt for the Walmart ones that are just like these but cost half the price.
