This net was very useful for my granddaughter when she decided to play softball for her school. She needed lots of practice and this net came in handy for the backyard practices. She also used it for volleyball as well. The netting material is strong and durable stopping the softball from going into the neighbor's yard as well as not having to chase the ball. This net can be used for multiple purposes. You could hang outdoor lights on it draping them through the netting, or to hang small garden tools with the small S hooks on it for storage in your garage. It's not just for sports.

I actually got this as a protective netting for my chickens while I let them forage outside in their pen. Where I live, we've got eagles and hawks out the wazoo, so I'm reluctant to let my flock free range without some protection, especially since this lot are silkies, which due to their crests blocking their vision, make extra easy preys. I originally got a cheaper net, the kind used for gardening and it devolved into a tangled mess almost immediately. This net is made of a thicker webbing and has enough structure to be handled pretty easily without turning in an unmanageable clump. I've left it out in the yard for about a month now and it's holding up great so far, no issues! Would recommend.

I ordered the Amazgolf 10 foot baseball backstop net and found setup to be easy, quality to excellent with amazing durability from an entire summer of catches from the adults to kids that were using it. ( especially useful since we live with our backyard facing the water, so no lost balls into the water). a great plus! The thicker netting prevents tangles and doesn't tear. Secure setup is provided from the included12 spring snaps and 4 carabineers. 10'x 10' is ample coverage for most. There are many uses for this reliable netting from backdrops for basketball playing, soccer, etc. Recommended for its reasonable price, quality, sturdiness and reliability.

Okay, so I got this net -- it's good construction and material and seems well-suited as a softball backstop. The knitting is secure and I'm sure balls won't get through. What I'm using it for, though, is to block off a section of my garden to keep deer from getting at it. With a couple of the included carabiners attaching it to a nearby fence, this net is great, both keeping the deer away and allowing me to enter easily by releasing a carabiner. The spacing of holes is I'm sure intended for softball, but it's just as good as keeping those pesky noses away from my cucumbers. The 15' length is perfect. Maybe someday I'll throw a few balls at it.

The Amazgolf baseball softball backstop nets arrived this week and they are just perfect. They are so sturdy and heavy duty. This will stop any fast ball with ease. The kit is complete with hooks and carabiners. I can also see it being used in a garden to deter critters!! This netting is a winner! We had a net that we used to practice pitching baseball in the backyard. After an incident with a stray cat getting tangled in the net, animal control needed to cut our net to humanely free the cat, leaving us with a stand and no net. In comes the Amazgolf Backstop Net. The first thing I noticed is the material used for the net seems very sturdy and durable. It almost seems like it will last longer than the original net we used for our backstop. This one is much larger though, so luckily the company sends clips and retainers to make it fit any frame you need it for. Overall, I think this is a great net that will last in the elements for a long time.
