I needed extra anchor points for the cover on my 24 foot pontoon boat. I like to use bungie cord for anchoring so there is some give in the wind, these pad eyes are perfect for the bungie cord hooks. The screws hold well in the aluminum railings. I am pleased with my purchase.

Seems like a good product, but like others have said, these are stainless plated so time will tell if they stand up to weather. I used them as mounting points for my patio festoon lights. I ended up using galvanized wood screws since the included screws wouldn't have provided the amount of fastening security needed for my application. ... show more

I wanted something for holding Christmas and Halloween decorations that was nicer than nails and lasted longer than the junk they sell seasonally. I put these up and attached decor with galvanized carabiner clips. Worked great. I could hold a lot more stands of lights at once please heavier decorations.
