Thin but doesn’t seem so on the floor. I expected it to be much flimsier. Very soft. I don’t know if I’d put it in my living room, but my wife thinks it’s fine. The rug is not thick, but is adequate for the room we are using it in. The non-slip backing worked well on our vinyl flooring. The rug came folded in a box, but did not have creases that need to be steamed out. The rugs was very soft to the touch. This rug has a lot of light colored areas and I would not recommend it in a high traffic area unless people take off their shoes. The colors shown in the picture are true. I love the grey. This rug is large but I'm not sure if it could even be washed in a large commercial washer. I am giving this rug 4 stars as we are using it in a low traffic room. ... show more

This is a beautiful rug! It is much softer than I expected. I have not put it in the washing machine yet because I am able to clean it very well with my carpet cleaner.
