The main ad photo and the closeup of the pile height gave the impression it would be more waahed out/ subdued, when I feel with the outlines and colors it's more contrasted in person, but there are definitely areas with a faded effect so it maintains a bit of that vibe. The pattern is beautiful as well, and the colors are both apparent and easy to work with/ versatile. It is a bit tres chic, soft and stays put nicely on a felt rug pad with its non-slip backing for an extra cushioned feel. I use a stick vacuum with it, and appreciate the easy spot-cleaning (which is as convenient or moreso than putting in a washing machine). I feel the pattern also works nicely for all seasons. Great value.

Alright, listen up, folks! I bought this rug, and I'm pretty sure I just peaked in adulting. I'm talking about the 5x7 Vintage Floral Washable Area Rug in cream and beige – the one that looks like it belongs in a fancy grandma's parlor, but is secretly ready to rumble with a rogue Cheerio. First of all, let's address the floral elephant in the room. Yes, it's vintage-y. Yes, it's floral. But it's not too floral. It's like, "I appreciate timeless elegance" floral, not "I'm suffocating under a mountain of potpourri" floral. My significant other, who identifies as aggressively modern, hasn't even threatened to burn it yet, so that's a major win. Now, the real reason I’m writing this, the washable part. People, I have kids. I have pets. I have a tendency to spill things. This rug is basically my therapist in textile form. Spaghetti sauce incident? No problem. Rogue dog hair tumbleweed? Bring it on. Just toss this bad boy in the washing machine. It comes out looking like it just spent a week at a spa (unlike me after doing laundry). I even gave it a light ironing afterwards, because I'm fancy like that. And the low-profile design? Genius! My doors can finally swing freely, escaping their rug-induced prison! Plus, my robot vacuum, affectionately named "Dusty," now considers this rug its best friend. They have a weekly date. It's adorable. (And by adorable, I mean I don't have to vacuum. Score!) The non-slip backing? A gift from the gods of clumsy people. I can now trip freely without taking the rug and anything else surrounding it down with me in a glorious, flailing swan dive. Would recommend to anyone who spills things, has messy kids, shedding animals, or just likes nice things they don't have to stress about. Seriously, buy this rug. You won't regret it (unless you hate flowers, then maybe get a plain one...but still make sure it's washable!)

I’ve been struggling for years with area rugs. No matter what I do… or how many times I take my dogs out.. of them ends up peeing on the rug. I’ve gone through so many and I’m never able to get them clean and the pee was ruining my wood floors. I was researching “Ruggable” and the like but wasn’t impressed with the reviews or the price. I found this AMADA “washable” rug on Amazon and decided to give it a shot since the price was right. The rug is thin, but it needs to be to be able to wash it in a machine. Which I haven’t tried yet.. but I probably won’t have to! The rug is also “spill resistant” so most of the liquid doesn’t seep in!! Amazing! I even purchased a waterproof carpet pad but I don’t think I’ll need that either! The rug color and design is very pretty and the rug is also SO SOFT! Much softer than other low pile rugs I’ve used. Very happy with my order so far. My rating system breakdown: 1 Star = Safety hazard, gross misrepresentation of product, or flat out doesn't work 2 Stars = Needs improvement 3 Stars = Meh, likely wouldn't buy again. 4 Stars = Meets expectations 5 Stars = Exceeds expectations
