The new CE Level 2 armor (TÜV‑certified) is thinner, more breathable, more flexible, and performs better in cold weather. Both new and original versions ship randomly, so yours may differ from the main image. I prefer the other armor version. Can I exchange it? Of course. Whether you prefer the original version or the new one, we can offer one free replacement per customer. Just reach out to us via Amazon Messaging, and we'll arrange it for you. Are the new honeycomb armor pads certified for real motorcycle riding? Yes. The new armor is CE Level 2 certified (TÜV-tested) for motorcycle use – not just general impact protection. The triangular honeycomb absorbs impact and stays flexible in cold weather. That’s a higher standard than basic CE Level 2 pads. I bought black/army green in size 34 and they fit perfectly. Why is the blue size 34 tighter? The black and army green fabric has more stretch. The blue version uses a less elastic fabric for a snugger fit. If you prefer the blue, we recommend sizing up for better comfort. Good pants for tooling around

I was looking for cheaper pants for tooling around and practicing slow-speed maneuvers. These fit the bill. They are slightly oddly shaped, with thin legs and a wider waist, but a belt takes care of the waist, and I prefer legs that don't flap. The legs still have adequate room to add a base layer without discomfort. No problem not shrinking these in the wash. I turned them inside out, used cold water, and didn't use the dryer (the wash instructions on the inside tag also say this). They came out fitting the way they went in. I got a slight color fade on the first wash, but it was not terrible. The knee armor can be moved to different positions, so I got it in the right spot for my knees. Front pockets are small for a phone or wallet, especially when you want to add your keys after riding. They're big enough while riding, though, that you forget they're there, like many riding pants. These aren't my primary pants, but for the price, they are certainly a better value than a lot of riding gear. ... show more

Protection but warm

There are great pants. Slim fit and quite warm in the summer temps, but I feel protected in these. I appreciate the front pockets for the knee pads. I do tend to overheat when I wear these in sunny temps over 80. Quality seems quite good. Zipper is a little short but not too bothersome. The only thing that would make these better would be some type of mesh areas or zippers for airflow ... show more

Durable, Long Lasting, Reliable!

I’ve been wearing these pants for over a year now since after my first accident, I am a very big gear head. Today in particular, since my first accident, I had my first contact “crash”, but I didn’t fall off instead, my knee rubbed up against a barrier at about 20 to 30 miles an hour for a solid 5 to 10 seconds until I could pull off. I got target fixated but long story short, my knee took no damaged not even a scratch and yes, the fabric ripped slightly, but not even all the way through. Five stars does not come easy for me, but this product has earned it. Value for money: Owned for over a year, first ever issue and they held up excellent. I can still wear them until I buy a new pair! Functionality: The image below shows that they can tolerate a crash, or at least intense friction. Durability: The quality last forever or at least for a long time. My knee didn’t take a single scratch during this contact, and there was no pain. I pulled these out of the bag and here something hard hit my floor, couldn't see anything. So I proceeded to try these on. Super tight around my thighs. Nice stretch everywhere else. Super long in length so the knee pads don't sit where they should. Pockets for hip pads are very cheaply done. Velcro is trash. Pockets pad are too large so the pads will move around if the pants aren't super tight. The pants look nice in the front not so flattering in the back. I notice loose threads all over the pants. When I take then off I notice some more stuff falling out. I look and it THESE GIANT RODENT DROPPINGS. I was literally gagging. That dropped it from two stars to one. There are NO Aramid fiber panels in these, I wanted to like them, fit great, knee and hip armor is quality and in the right place, but without the slide protection, they’re useless for safety, thin cotton fabric will just shred along with my skin. Returning them. Update! Re-ordered, vendor said they would make it right, black ones have the Aramid panels, refunding 20% for my trouble, stretchy slim fit perfect size and they are on sale, win win win! ... show more

Comfy, fits okay, some flaws with stitching

Overall they were a good fit and decent quality (more on that after). They were pretty comfy, I’d definitely recommend upsizing the waist just a bit and just wear a belt cause mine definitely felt smaller than they were supposed to be. I personally never fell and slid with these on so I can’t attest to how well they perform. However after about a year, the middle stitching under the crotch area began to rip apart and completely split so I don’t wear them anymore. I’m sure I can still take them to a place to get it re-stitched so that’s a viable option. ... show more

Ok so im a size 36. All my pants are size 36. I ordered these size 36 regular. Now be4 you order. I will warn you these pants run big. For some reason they sent me a XXL pants. I did try them on and they definitely felt bigger knee pads are sitting on my knees when im on the bike but I have to pull them up a few. They are thicker and feel good . These are good quality. They feel thick and strong, the stitching is solid and the fit is great. I'm 6'1" and weight 185. I got size32 and they fit perfectly. Highly recommend. Great value for the money.
