These bands a somewhat of a step up from the ones I had been using from a different brand. The smaller of the two has about 50lbs more resistance than the similar sized one from the other brand and you can really feel the difference. The larger one is actually wider than my current bar can accommodate, so I guess I’ll be shopping for a bigger bar soon. It would be nice if the bands had the resistance levels printed directly on them, but ten seconds with a Sharpie took care of that anyway. The bands came folded with high quality rubber bands on them. I can’t remember the last time I was impressed with a rubber band, but these are really nice and I actually plan to continue using them for storage. The bands have a somewhat “slick” feel to them that allows them to glide well across my back during chest presses, but doesn’t leave any residue on my shirt. I’m building a new ground plate soon and I’m excited to see how well they work with it. I received this item for free through the Amazon Vine program in return for my honest impressions.

These bands are not exactly what I expect. They are rather large and thick - It's been interesting and exhausting (exercise wise) learning how to properly use these. The resistance is insane. Unfortunately, I did not received the bar which was suppose to accompany the bands.

I own an X3 which is the original workout bar and retails for $549. So I wanted to see how these bands would compare to the X3 bands and if I could use the with my X3. They work but there is a clear quality difference. Pros: - They fit the X3 bar - They provide good resistance, but not as quite much as the Elite bands. - They are the right length so you can get good full range motion Cons - They are slippery! I have had them slide off my back a couple of times and whack me in the back of the head. So you have to be more thoughtful about where you place them since they won't grip and stay in place as easy as the X3 bands. - Lack of layers. This one is not as obvious unless you are paying attention but this band is a single layer of rubber. The X3 bands are 15 individual layers of latex so that if one layer breaks it does not tear or snap the entire band. With this band it is a single layer which means if it breaks it is likely to do it quickly. And yes, bands can and do tear/snap with lots of wear. These work (especially for the price) but just be aware that these are a cheaper imitation of the higher end bands.

These worked great adding into my workouts. They’re really high quality and based on the couple weeks I’ve been using them, I think these are going to last a long while. No visible defects in sight.

These bands are great - they work great and the price is not bad. I bring these to the gym as a supplement to my main lifts and they get the job done for me.

It was hard to tell how thick these were from the online description, so if you are looking for some REALLY beefy bands for full body resistance then these are an option. They are not for smaller muscle groups unless you are very large and powerful person. I can probably use for some full body stretches but the thickest band...I don't know.

I noticed that my X3 bands were getting dry, so I lubricated them with a silicone spray. However, I decided that I might need a spare one in the future, so I decided to try these out. The thickness, width, and feel are quite similar to the X3 bands. I’ve included a picture of my X3 compared to these. The X3 is the black one. These will be a great and affordable replacement. I highly recommend them.
