  • Easy Peasie can crusher
Bought this to crush oversized cans to big for my electric can crusher. 50 or so 32oz cans later I am very pleased with how it performs. Solid and well made. Will not crush long neck aluma-bottles (they are to tall for the opening). Depending on how the can compacts you might need to lightly push the can in to keep it from popping out when crushing. This also applies to already bent cans. Would buy again. ... show more

  • Y'all, it seriously is a great crusher!
First, a note about the picture. Yes, the handle is missing. It's not missing, it just wasn't installed yet but that was my oversight. Second, yes, those are yearling calves licking my truck in the background. All the way around and as high as they could reach. Photobomb stars. Second pic is the inaugural crush. A fresh, still cold, Lone Star can. How apropos! Now to the point of the review. The Master Crusher is awesome. A few weeks before, my cousin mentioned how great it would be to have a can crusher so we didn't end up with everything from mineral tubs, seed bucket on our late uncles brother's ATV, random boxes filled with cans and bottles. Lucky everyone is pretty good about not just dropping trash. That got me looking for a can crusher because I'm kind of the clean freak that tries to do little things to keep things cleaner and neater. Fast forward past hunting and reading reviews, I find the Master Crusher, not only sounding like a great, solid crusher for a semi-outdoors application, and not just made in the USA, but in Texas, and even Houston (where I grew up) so clickity click, I get one in the way. I had it in my hands in a few days. I had to find a way to mount it, solidly on the pipe post/drill stem of the shed/cover so I grabbed a piece of 2x6 I had laying around with marks like I'd used if for smacking bearings of something, picked up some SS hardware and 'viola, a mount solution. To class up the joint, I burnished the pine 2x6 with a torch to give it that classy look that would blend in with the rustic, drill stem it would be mounted to. Ok, humorous story aside, I got it mounted like a rock, got a lined trashcan secured below it and off to crushing a mineral tub full of nasty cans and plastic bottles. Now, this is in Trinity County where the ground is dusty, like dust, fine dust that when dry and windy, everything gets dusty, especially crushing who knows how many dirty, dusty cans and bottles, the Master Crusher was kind of a mess. I cleaned the rails off and put a little oil on them and I think we'll be good but may need to clean it every now and then. Not much you can do about that. It works great! It's easy to crush cans and bottles, although as you'd expect, if you try to crush a partially crushed or bend can or bottle, it may try to pop out if you don't orient it the right way. Once crushed, just slip it out to fall into the trashcan a go for the next. I'm glad to report that no one that used it that first weekend needed special training. Everyone was certified to crush their own cans/bottles and it seems it'll be a hit. To the comments about bending or breaking handle. I can't see how, unless you're on the 18th can to crush, after emptying, all 18 yourself, and it wasn't Coke. What I can see, is carelessness causing the support bars to bend from trying to crush a can sideways. Really, it's easy to see the handle comes down, straight down, and maybe has a little side to side tolerance, but if you try to push it in a direction it's not supposed to go, you might be successful in bending it. The handle itself, it's solid. It might take a little patience to screw in the extension but it seems that's by design. The threads seems to be meant to bind in each other making it solid and dry, so just go slow and make sure the threads aren't crossed (not easy to make that happen, but someone will try) Hope y'all enjoyed the review, it just seemed like one that a little humor would work, but don't skip over the point, this crusher is great and I expect it to be hanging right where it is for a long time. FYI, this thing looks good too, for what that's worth. Oh, well maybe one thing. The "Master Crusher" sticker....looks like it was printed from a handheld label maker, with old tape that doesn't really stick but got stuck on pretty quick, or the Sticker Installer was eating a Whataburger at the same time. It's mostly gone after use that weekend, or at least pretty banged up, but that has nothing to do with how great this Houston, Texas, USA made crusher really is!! ... show more

  • Good Value
When properly mounted and used this can crusher works fine. Crush one can at a time and clear it before the next can. Does not do well with 16 ounce cans but will crush them with some extra effort.

  • Awesome crusher
Heavy duty and easy to use. This is my new best friend lol. Mounted to a door frame gave excellent results. A side note... I'm a little ashamed to admit it but putting the handle together... please take the plastic wrap of of the threaded part. I put it together without my glasses but hey a couple of pipe wrenches later it's all good. ... show more

  • I LOVE IT!!! ;p
First day of usage: I was glad the individual whom invented and patented this device agreed to sell his product through the Amazon market place, because the previous can crusher that my old man had purchased (myself as a supporting college student, I have to be loyal with my folks) finally broke but it was a good can crusher for $10. I love my energy drinks, and especially I love my green tea which I can get in a 32 ounce can for about $1; it's inefficient to continue to put on a pair of boots to crush these cans to save space in the recycling. The next can crusher HAS to crush at least a 16 ounce can, the inventor of this product created this crusher to crush 32 ounce cans; and for a while you had to go through his linkage and Paypal to buy his product. Which is a whole new can of worms to open where-by it's just another way of sending monies to another party individual. In his linkage, YOU HAVE TO LUBE THE SLIDING PARTS with either some small machine oil or my favorite WD-40; I had no problems on the first day and it operates quite smoothly, and very powerful. Yes, I expect eventually through some good years with this product, it will break down like the previous model my old man had that was considerably smaller; or maybe my doubts are probably nothing. Because manufactures are getting better at engineering their products to last a life-time (between 50 to 70 years), my old man is very proud and happy to see this product in his garage; and I am happy because he is happy... After I installed the item in his garage the night before, (seriously, even in the North; it gets crazy humid and miserable, so I had to install this item at midnight when it was cool again); my old man is able to crush 16 plus size energy drink cans with no problem or fuss. On a bad day I can consume 10 of these a day, so you could probably imagine 2 weeks of built up stress with my energy drink consumption and how big that bag is going to be. Not anymore, it's 75% smaller and far easier to organize. And my dad is also more comfortable buying his tea in 32 ounce cans, when he knows he can crush it efficiently. April 10, 2018: I'm still not having any difficulties with this product. Routine oiling and cleaning with either WD40 or another oiling product is more than sufficient to keep the components running smooth since my last review, I still don't have any negative things to say about this product. I finally quit my energy drink habit (onto caffeine supplements) and moved on, sort-of; but this product will flat out continue to operate strong. I am saddened that this product is no longer offered on Amazon, so check-out his YouTube video. It's still the best purchase that I made for my folks, and one that I'm looking forward to installing in my permanent place soon. ... show more
