So so so so many people are glazing over this right now because it's $12 (this was the price when I bought it at least) and "it can't be that good for $12, right?" WRONG. I got this last minute for a river trip fully expecting it to break or run out of battery fast. It fell in the water a bunch and still worked perfectly. Synched to my phone easily. Can tie it around your neck when things get too bumpy. This speaker is loud, but not so loud that other floaters would be bothered. There were some people you could hear them blasting all the way down the river. If you want to hear your music but not be obnoxious about it, get this one. A couple of people floated by and we said "sorry if the music is too loud" because we could hear it very clearly in our clump, but they said they couldn't. By the way, I'd highly suggest you actually try it in water before you go off and say it's not waterproof without actually knowing. My friends had a pool party some time after the river trip and they were asking me to bring my little speaker with. It's become a legendary gadget for the price around here. ... show more

It was much smaller than I realized when it came in. It puts out a good sound. Although after having for a couple months now, I've noticed it doesn't stay charged as long anymore. I do use it at work pretty much all day, so that is something to consider.

This is a great gift speaker for people traveling. We gave this to a friend's daughter who was going to isreal. Its small enough to go in carry-on luggage and give good sound quality so they can share their music with friends.

I got this to use on my paddleboard. I attached it to the back. (pictured) My board is an inflatable so it is a bit higher off the water but did get waves and water on it. The speaker was clear and volume levels were really good. It was easy to connect and charge. I was on the water for 6 hours and it played the entire time. That is the longest i used it for so far. I have a bigger Bluetooth speaker (Zotac) but I got this one because it's so small. It is perfect, sounds pretty loud and I carry it around my house every day. When I get up I grab it and have it in the kitchen for maikng coffee and feeding the cat, I take it out on the porch later in the day for sports radio. I even carry it it out to the street when I put out the garbage. I have it paired to my Amazon Echo that sits in the corner by our breakfast nook. I already had the usb charger from my other speaker. This is about the size of a credit card and about an inch thick. It is tiny but it charges fast and plays loud for the size. Pro tip if you have a big metal mixing bowl you can put the speaker in there and it will amplify even louder. This is small enough for most pockets. Portable.
