I love to listen to music and sing in the shower. I've had a variety of low end speakers for the bathroom and most of them have been fine. The audio quality is a bit on the bass-y side. In fact, whenever I set it on the side of the bathtub, it falls in from the vibration. I recently discovered it came with a strap, so I attached the strap to one of my shower hooks. The body of it feels very good in the hand. It's got some weight to, and feels premium. The buttons are squishy, but also feel very premium. The welcome clip that plays when you turn on the speaker, "Welcome to Altec Lansing" has become endearing to me somehow, which is kind of funny to me. I tend to mock it when it come on by saying it in harmony. One day while using it, I asked my wife to skip a song for me on my phone. She mentioned that with many speakers you can hold the volume up (+) button, and it will skip the song on your phone. Mind blown, and so happy that this speaker has that feature as well! ... show more

Nice speaker. Does everything I need it to do. Nice features. I have not had it around water so I can't rate the water resistance. The battery life seems alright as well. The only negative that I have found is that it vibrates when at full volume and moves across the table. It has fallen off twice now, no damage, still works great. ... show more

A nice sounding speaker, but it is a single speaker so no stereo. Also, after about 3 months now the speaker has totally blown and is unusable. I've had very good luck with altec lansing, this one not so much. I would suggest a different option from altec as all of my other, older altec speakers never had that problem at all. ... show more

I needed to replace a small bluetooth speaker I was using for work, and after reading the rave reviews about this speaker, I bought it. Speaker received and the sound is not like most are raving about. Even at max volume, it's just not that loud and is distorted. I played around with equilizer settings and just can't get this speaker to sound good. It's getting returned and I will spend a little more for a better speaker. If you will be within 10 feet of this speaker at max volume, you'll be good. If you need to hear it over a sneeze, look elsewhere. ... show more
