I returned this car stereo. I bought this to replace an older Sony with a 3.5 plug in that had 50 watts per channel. This stereo was not nearly as powerful or loud. I would say this is maybe 20 watts per channel. I could turn the volume all the way up and it only went to about 60% or 70% of my old Sony. I could not turn my original Sony all the way up or it would blast me out of my car and maybe blow my speakers. The bass boost worked but no matter what settings I used, I could not turn up the midrange, the trebble, or the volume high enough. I didn't mess with the color settings but during daylight I couldn't read the display either. You can't dial in an exact station. It scrolls for stations and it picks them for you. There was no adjustment in the stereo for this. At night the radio stations I played did show the song and the artist scrolling in the display which my old stereo didn't. The 3.5 plugin did work well with my phone. These were the only 2 things I liked. I bought this for my 2004 Jeep. I considered buying a power booster to add to it, but it would have cost me as much as the stereo, if not more. I didn't want to spend that much money on such an old vehicle. I also didn't have room to install a power booster which was another problem. I instead sent this back and reinstalled my old stereo. I might just get another Sony because I've found you can buy a single din Sony with a 3.5 plugin on Amazon which did not come up in my search of single din results when I found this stereo. You might like this stereo but if you like to play your music loud this is not the car stereo for you without a power booster. I hope you can find a setting that allows you to see the screen in bright daylight. ... show more

I've always bought pioneer head units this would be the first alpine I bought the connectivity with the Bluetooth instant there's a lot of audio options doesn't require an app to connect like the pioneer head units install was quick good bass enhancement has different color options for the display Bluetooth phone calls are clear definitely good value for the price ... show more

Previous head unit was Alpine, so install was super easy. Lots of controls and enjoy the different colors of display and buttons. Bluetooth worked great.

I can't understand the instructions. I follow the steps but I don't seem to enjoy it yet. The manual seems to be genetic, as some features aren't easy or self explanatory. I read the manual at least 60btimes. I still can't keep a station preset no can I understand how to find the up and down to change radio stations. For some reason the volume won't play loud. The volume just won't go up to (in my mind) past like a 3 or so. I don't know? ... show more

Dislike that the Bluetooth is not working I can hear them speak to me but they can’t hear me .
