    • Sound is amazing! But.....
I installed these, today, in a 10th gen civic ex. They are being powered by an Alpine S-A32F amplifier. I, absolutely, love how great they sound! But, I have one complaint. The negative and positive prongs, which the speaker wire connect to, are very flimsy. One of the negative prongs (there is two pos and neg, on each speaker) broke off, when I tried to connect the wire. And, one of the positive prongs almost broke off, on the other speaker. If I hadn't had a soldering torch and soldering on hand, this would have been a huge irritation! Overall: A+ for sound quality; C- for manufacturing quality. ... show more

    • Sound great even with a hole punched in them
I drive a 2004 silverado extended cab, without the bose option. While installing this product, I accidentally punched a small hole in the cone. I was super sad, thinking that I had ruined the whole speaker. However, with some research, some clear nail polish, and some paper towels, I had the hole patched up in no time and sounding great. I am actually surprised that there is no difference in sound between the damaged and undamaged speaker, but I am not complaining. The self-tapping screws included in the package are kind of junky, and it was because of them that I ended up punching the hole in the first place. However, I replaced these screws with a simple nut and bolt, and the mounting plate functions well and there is absolutely no rattling from either side. The sound of the tweeters are great, and they even are able to be angled any way you want, so they have the potential to sound even better. The speakers themselves sound great, but there really isn't a ton of bass. However, you're buying 6.5 inch speakers, and can't really expect soul-shaking bass in the first place. The addition of subwoofers quickly rectified this problem for me, but this is a warning to anyone expecting good bass from these speakers, because that isn't really what they were designed for. Altogether, these speakers were a delicious upgrade from my 2004 stock speakers, and make for a great-sounding sound system in my truck. ... show more

    • Great for Honda Pilots 2012-2015
Given that the head unit is very difficult (if not impossible) to replace/upgrade on my Honda Pilot 2015, I decided to try to upgrade the speakers. Glad I did. What a difference. The old ones were light as a feather, these are heavy and of great quality. The sound is amazing. For bass lovers, you're going to have to add a sub somehow (good luck with that). For my rock/metal-loving butt, these are just fine. ... show more

Installed these in my jeep rubicon upper rear speakers and they sound great with factory head unit. Also Installed a second pair of tweeters in the front and bam it really woke up the sound over the factory speakers. I wouldn't say a bunch louder but a lot cleaner and make me want to install a sub. The install in my 2018 Honda Civic was simple just required an additional speaker harness and bracket. These speakers sound great. The tweeters are pretty rough and loud, I had to turn them down in the equalizer. They already have a crackling sound about 2 months later. I checked their fitment, polarity, and everything is set up properly, just poor quality tweeters. ... show more

Loved the fact that speaker itself has a high frequency blocker, so the tweeter freqs don't come through. Very nice and warm midbass.
