Received and set up was easy. Worked right off and has a pleasant sound. Lights are bright and at night create an interesting light pattern. After running for two days, had some issues. Lights were dim and pump barely moved water. If I disconnected the lights the motor ran fine. Reconnecting the lights, had bright lights that dimmed and motor loss power. Instead of trying to box item up and return it to Amazon, I went on Alpines Corporation web sight, and made a warranty claim. I filled in the claim form and sent it electronically. In my email I restated what had happened. Within two days (on a Saturday) I received a response from a customer service representative. She, right off, processed my claim and offered to replace the lights and pump. Within five days of my initial inquiry the parts were shipped. Through UPS. I received them fairly quickly, UPS had a delay. Everything works well and I am happy with the product and Alpine Corporation. They stood behind the product and sent me the necessary parts to have it working again. I highly recommend the product and the company. The representative was very polite and attentive to my issues and quickly resolved the matter. Again, this is a nice table top fountain. It is pleasant to watch and creates a relaxing atmosphere. I am going to use it in a vivarium. It is made of good quality. There were some pieces that rattle in side, left over from manufacturing, but were easily removed. The media could not be loaded. Bought for our bearded dragons 120 gal enclosure. Looks great. Works great and sounds great! He’s new to us and settling in so I’m sure he will love it too. Great value if you ask me :)

This is a perfect fountain for soothing, water trickling sounds. I did have an issue that Judy, with Alpine customer service made right, right away. This is my favorite fountain I have ever owned. It’s the perfect size. I have it in my plant window in my kitchen and can enjoy it also in our family room. It’s in a copper bowl with small pebbles around it and on all levels of the fountain. It has lights but I prefer to cover them. I love this fountain so much and it’s so relaxing! Update 7/24/25 I had my replacement fountain less than 2 months and it started leaking just like the other one. I contacted customer service and Grace recommended I use super glue to fix it. No more alpine fountains for me now. Very disappointed. It was great, until it wasn’t. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is incredible! I searched and searched and had the hardest time deciding what to get to go in my room that would go with the theme I'm trying to achieve. I debated long and hard between this one and another and after I set it up I know I made the right choice. I ended up opting for this one because of the price point as the other was 3 times higher. But I have to say this was definitely worth it tenfold. To be fair I got it on black Friday at a fraction of the cost but if you get it at full price, I don't think you will be disappointed. I can't tell you how much this makes my room so peaceful and relaxing. It just takes all your stress and worry away. The main reason I got this one is because of the natural look and wanting to bring some aspects of the outdoors into my room because nature is so peaceful and this certainly does that. I will say that it's made ok not super high quality but for the price it was worth it to me. It is a little bit heavy but for what it is, it's lightweight and somewhat big for a tabletop. But I wanted something big and this was a little smaller than I had expected. I thought the water pools would be a bit deeper but its only maybe about an inch to an inch and a half deep if that. I added some fish tank rocks in it, and most aren't covered fully with the water if that gives you some indication of how deep it is. The setup was a bit difficult as the pump and the plug and wire were all crammed into the back small opening and digging it out was worrying, I was afraid I might break something and trying to situate the pump and hose inside there was even harder. You need someone with small hands. When opening the packaging the Styrofoam was everywhere little bits and pieces all over it and a small little sliver of part of the fountain was laying on the bottom that may have broke off but I guess it wasn't anything of concern cause I don't have any leaks. I will say it is packaged really well with huge hard Styrofoam pieces hence all the bits all over it. Also the green coloring to make it look natural does rub off and tends to flake off and leave little dark grit around the fountain when you're moving it or touch it. The water tends to evaporate pretty quickly so I almost have to top it off every time I run it. But that may just be due to my environment. Its recommend to use distilled water which is what I use as well as fountain cleaner solution to put in it. They recommend their brand but I wasn't able to find it so I opted for something similar. This pump has a lot of power so keep it on low even on low it tends to splash out a small little mist in front but its barely noticeable and only feels slight damp to the touch and you cant even see any moisture unless you feel it. Last but not least the best thing of all is the sound which makes it all worth it in my opinion. It honestly sounds like a little stream running through my room. The water is not super loud but you can definitely hear it. You can slightly hear the pump humming at first but after a while you don't even notice it because it's so quiet. One other thing I'll mention is there is no on/off switch so you have to plug and unplug it when using it. I decided to use a smart plug with it to make that less of a hassle.
