I absolutely love the look of it, and when it was running it was perfect - the lovely light, the soft gurgling of the water cascading down into the base. The color perfectly matches my outdoor living space. BUT first one arrived with a big crack in the side, so I returned it and Amazon sent me a replacement. I received the new one and looked ok, but after getting it set up and running, there is a crack in the side. When Alpine packages this, they put foam blocks at the top and bottom of the box, and NOTHING in the middle to protect the fiberglass jar. I am surprise any of these make it to their destination in one piece. I absolutely loved this fountain, but will probably not order another one since Alpine has decided to go the super cheap route with their packaging and returning a 3' high fountain is a pain. ... show more

I loved it at first, but i have not had it more than a few weeks and already i have to restart the fountain to get the water to flow - but i can live with that, the worst part is the red paint is start to chip off! and i just got it! i am either going to need to touch it up with waterproof red paint or just get something else eventually,.,,, i doubt this fountain will even look good 6 months from now. Edit - today is 7/10/2020, i bought this fountain in 10/2019 - not even a year ago. Today the pump died, so not only does it look awful because of the paint chipping off, but now it does not work. I have to buy a new fountain. ... show more

The only feature of this fountain that I like is the LED light. It is not durable and not level. The pump is loud. It is so loud that I hear the pump running versus the fountain splashing. I handled it with utmost care and it has a hole. I am not sure where the cement is....I bought this because I have looked high and low for a porch size fountain in town and haven’t found one. This is not a suitable replacement. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We tried another, more compact fountain, but it was plastic and the pump was too weak for it to work. This one is beautiful, with nice coloration and a classic style. It works great, looks great, and I can lift it (even with water!) as a 5'6" woman when I set it up a few times before deciding on where I liked it best. It's outside at the moment, but we'll likely bring it inside for winter. The pump flow can be adjusted, and the lower setting works great, and it looks like there is no splatter. I can't wait for the birds to find it! Simple to set up, and the directions...so clearly written in ENGLISH with actual PHOTOS. As an "one of America's leading designers, importers, and distributors" of garden products, Alpine Corporation also included phone, email and text support, so their customer service commitment is apparent. This fountain is stunning! It worked great right out of the box. Of course there is a bit of fiddling to get the pump attached but it wasn't complicated at all. It took a minute to level the fountain on my deck since the boards weren't completely smooth. I ended up using a concrete paver stone I had lying around as a base. This leveled everything and made the water flow perfectly over the front. Other folks who gave bad reviews of this item: suspect operator error. I would highly recommend this fountain. I have already received compliments from the neighbors on this fountain. It looks great at night near a wall where the combo of LED light and water makes a cool shimmer effect on the wall. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Very nice fountain. Does what it's supposed to. PLEASE READ...... The instructions that come with the fountain are very easy to understand. I used one gallon of distilled water. Do not use tap water as it may cause sediment build-up in the system over time and clog the pump. You'll eventually pour the water in the square opening on the back of the fountain. Assemble the parts as it states in the instructions. I recommend that you rotate the pump dial completely clockwise, making the water flow at its minimum. You can dial it counterclockwise if you want more water flow however this may result in some water splashing onto the floor. Turning it completely clockwise did not result in water splashing out for me. Place the pump at the bottom of the tank....You should NOT have the adapter plugged into the wall yet. Pour your water into the tank. Make sure the pump is fully submerged under the water. Plug in the adapter. It may take several minutes for the fountain to flow water as it removes air from the system. ... show more
