    • Our fountain looks and sounds even better than we expected.
When assembling and setting the fountain up on our deck we carefully leveled each tier of the fountain from right to left - but - we tilted the assembled tiers such that the top back edge is about 3/8" - 1/2" behind the bottom back edge. This helps allow the falling sheets of water from each tier to fall into its basin rather than splash out over the front edges of the basins. Even so, we unplug the pump whenever winds cause the falling sheets of water to 'move around' and whenever we're not on our deck to avoid having water 'splash' out of the fountain basins. We left our pump on lowest flow setting, which provides more than enough water flow. We love how our fountain looks and the delightful sound the falling water makes. ... show more

    • Love it other than what happens when its windy
The media could not be loaded. I love this fountain, but when it is windy, it loses a lot of water! We retro fitted it with a piece of glass on the back, thanks to another reviewer, and that helped a lot. The sound level is medium to loud, which is what I wanted for traffic noise. When the wind blows, the water flow on the tiers gets messed up. I put some Vaseline on the edges to help with this issue. It is not perfect, but it did help some. I added some lights for at night. I would have given it five stars for how much I liked it but the water loss, no lights, and how much I had to mess with it cost it a star. ... show more

This is worth every penny! I didn't figure it'd be so big! The waterfall is gorgeous, BIG, and surprisingly quiet for its size. Everyone that sees it, compliments me. Only star I take off is because this should come with lights. I have a resin 36 inch version of this one and it looks great in day and awesome at night because it came with lights. Warning: DO NOT have it outside, exposed to elements. This is thin tin and will rust easily. Mine hasn't but, I know it will if kept outside because of another fountain I had on front door that was made with same material and within 5 months, it rusted. ... show more

    • Decent fountain and good height
This replaces another fountain (Alpine) which lasted about 3 years before it rusted and collapsed. This is a nice sized fountain. It has no illumination, so I took the recommendation of another review and added LED strip lighting (under $20) to the back and it looks good at night. There is no back to the fountain so you see the wall behind it. I have it outside and when it starts up it does splash. A quick finger swipe to the black sponge baffles alleviates this quickly (works itself out after a while). I put it on 4" blocks to keep it off the ground and hopefully delay rust and extend life. So far so good and the price was reasonable for the size. ... show more

    • Very nice overall with a few mentionables

The media could not be loaded. I just got my fountain set up this weekend so here are a few thoughts in no specific order. 1.) as soon as picked up the box it just felt very light based on what I was expecting for a fountain this tall. As I opened the box and pulled out the fountain I was a little put off by how very thin the metal is. Visually it doesn't matter- it's long term durability concerns if it starts rusting. Would not take much rust to completely eat away some of the panels. 2.) Setup was easy. Took like 10 minutes start to finish. Only thing to be aware of is to make SURE you turn the pump all the way to LOWEST flow, and check it submerged in a kitchen sink or bucket to make sure which way you have turned the control on the pump. I turned it the way they wrote in the manual, and thought it was lowest so I was a little bummed when I first turned it on after setting everything up and filling it with water because water was splattering out onto the floor. Not a ton but enough to keep the area around the base completely soaked. I decided to check it again and turned the opposite direction and that made all the difference for the better. The flows on each tier are no perfectly smooth and almost no splashing. A few tiny droplets from time time time but since this is outside it's not even really noticeable (it's on a slate base beside my front door, outside). 3.) As several have mentioned DO NOT REMOVE THOSE BLACK sponge looking baffles!!! They serve a purpose. With those in place the water come out in beautiful smooth sheets. 4.) I added an led light strip to the back of it and it backlights the fountain in the alcove and does look pretty freaking spectacular (SEE VIDEO & PHOTO ATTACHED). If you get one I suggest no longer than 12 feet. I got a 16ft strip and had to double it around 2 passes up and down the back, but again, it looks great. It has a remote and can be set to almost any color you want using Red/Green/Blue adjustments on the remote. Pretty slick. I selected a deep blue & it looks like something you would see in a hotel on Miami Beach. I also got a submersible light with remote for charging colors. 5.) Check prices!! I paid $474 for this fountain in Jun 2021, and as of today, Sep 20, 2021, I see its now just $304!! I would feel a lot better about this fountain at $300 vs $474, but still, It does look perfect for the space and if I get 3-4 years out of it I will be happy. Conclusion: Looks and operates great; slightly lightweight materials give me a little concern for durability. Overall very pleased now that I got the waterflow right! If you can get it close to the $340ish current price I would recommend it. Go for the backlights also! ... show more

    • Fantastic Fountain!
The media could not be loaded. This fountain is an awesome addition to our roof deck in the city. It conceals a lot of noise and is aesthetically pleasing. As far as the poor reviews regarding a lot of splashing, there are two important points: 1) DO NOT REMOVE THE BLACK MESH THAT APPEARS TO BE SHIPPING MATERIAL. I accidentally did this and it did result in a lot of splashing and an uneven flow. These prices are there to help the water smoothly flow from one level to the next. 2) Adding some river rocks, especially to the top two tiers has helped make it flow much smoother as well. After owning this for a year, I’m very satisfied and would certainly purchase if again! ... show more
